In Kashmiri culture girls never take blessings by touch feet.....Girls are considered to be mata ka roop before marrige.... And shiv ki shakti after marriage... So never to touch feet... This is the reason we don't have custom of women fasting for their husbands... Posh puza which is a unique puja of kashmiri marriages only, is done to give both of them equal rights of shiva and parvati.... Both are an equal part of a whole...

Before lagan, girl wears ath attached with nairvan(moli), after lagan which is replaced by golden chain given by in laws.
