    Thank you for this playthrough. You've helped me to understand this game better than anyone has so far.

    Got this game a while ago but only just played it, my ending was so different, spawned a dimensional rift in the garden and a star spawn, solved by closing the rift

    Pretty epic ending for both of them to run out with the mansion burning behind you but the main villain still cackling maniacally in the fire.

      It was quite cinematic :D This was the first time I'd seen a fire break out in the game, and in this case it seemed to help more than hurt!

    Your video made me want to get this game. I watched other play through and normally only consider Rodney, Rahdo, and Vassel but your content specifically got me interested in this game.

    I think Wendy needed the Lucky Rabbit's Foot much more than William did! Great play through. I enjoyed it very much.

      +Stasia Doster I wish I could roll as well as William when I'm not filming! Although only Wendy managed to make it outside... Thanks Stasia this was an especially fun one to do!

      I know what you mean about William's dice rolling. I wish I could roll that well too!

    "Wendy only had one action because she was stunned."
    I thought her special ability is that she cannot become stunned or restrained...

    • @slickerdrips
      @slickerdrips  8 лет назад

      Good catch! Do you know roughly when it happened so I can put a note up?

    • @spellcrafter

      The stun effect was applied as a result of the horror check against the ghost at 15:45.

    Just getting into this. Aren't Damage and Horror cards resolved immediately unless it states otherwise, THEN turned face down? I'm not too sure myself.

      +Kevin Barton If I remember correctly, if the instruction giving you the damage doesn't specify facedown, you draw them face up and read the instructions which mostly say turn face down at the end, although some are permanent effects and stay face up

    2:50 wasn't William in darkness? he wasn't supposed to be able to spend clue tokens. . .unless, did he have a light source?

    • @Femaiden
      @Femaiden 6 лет назад

      also
      10:12
      you said "william could leave the fire alone and it will do damage to the monsters, but on the other hand, then it will spread to wendy's space"
      i thought you could choose the direction it spreads, meaning you could have it spread into the hallway instead?

    • @Femaiden
      @Femaiden 6 лет назад +1

      and then
      17:18 you moved wendy out of the fire space she was in and said "she won't take damage because she is moving"
      so, i thought the way it works is if there is fire on your space, you take damage if you do anything other than moving, so syou did do that correctly
      but
      if you move into the next space, which also has fire, you should take 1 damage anyway.
      the damage is only avoided when moving OUT of a fire space, NOT when moving INTO a fire space, UNLESS you succeeded on the extinguish action, which would avoide the damage and also put out the fire.
      which would kind of suck because if she performed the extinguish action, she would put out fires while moving but she still would have taken damage from the fire on her space because it was an "action other than moving"
      so either way she would have taken 1 damage.
      however, she should have 2 less horror because in the previous mythos phase, that horror was only supposed to happen if she was in darkness, which she was not..
      and she should not have been stunned, because of her ability. . .

    12:32 The attic is not containing Darkness so no one should take any damage i guess?

      Yes, at 12:42 he rolls a Mythos event for both investigators that doesn't apply since neither are in darkness. I couldn't tell if there were darkness tokens in the space or not, but since the room contained fire, the darkness would be ignored anyway.

    • @steelbeard151
      @steelbeard151 6 лет назад

      And then at 18:00 Wendy moves through a room with fire, and should have suffered a damage. You can only ignore fire damage if you are trying to extinguish it, which she wasn't.
