Sorry, but this video doesn't show the character and the soul of my city at all! It is Europe's most important center of steel production, the biggest inland port of Europe if not the world's, it is the location where the Ruhr flows into the Rhine! It is multi cultural and multi ethnic, due to hundred and more years of immigration. You should have been driven to Alsum, to Ruhrort, to Meiderich, Beek and Bruckhausen to see the industrial monuments of the city, and through Hochfeld and Wanheimerort to really get an impression what kind of city Duisburg is! And to Rheinhausen, where the New Silk Road from China ends! And, by the way, Duisburg is more than 1000 years old! So - there is a lot more to discover, come to my town and enjoy it!
I live in Duisburg, and I think this video is horrible. You could have asked the locals where to find better pictures. And endless red traffic light in real time is just useless.
yes, next time will do that and you can give me some ideas on where i can shoot better pictures. Thank you so much my friend. I really appreciate it :)
@@VirtualToursTravel For starters: 1)Tiger And Turtle, a roller-coaster like sculpture that can be explored by pedestrians (but can also be seen from the street). 2)Landschaftspark Nord, an ex-industrial steel plant that has been converted for tourism and has a light-art installation by Jonathan Park (visible only after sundown, obviously). You'll have to leave your car for that, though. 3)Mattlerbusch, a small forest that has a rather niche artificial waterfall at the center. Again, you'll have to have your car outside. Have fun!
What the HELL did they do to my birth city??? It's all uglier than shit with all these gigantic buildings!!! I left Duisburg about 40, 50 years ago and I don't recognize anything. Hope they left that anchor I loved so much driving by with my Vati manya times!!

Warum die Leute hier mit die Kommentare sprechen nicht auf deutsch,?
Hallo Freund, vor allem, weil sie wollen, dass jeder, der den Kommentar liest, überall auf der Welt verstehen kann, wo er ist. Vielen Dank :)
