    CSIR JUN 2018 Q.86.......The given product goes through 6π electrocyclic ring opening not 4π.....I might be wrong but 1 seems like the right option not 4

      no buddy, if the rxn occurs vai 6pi ring opening then by con mode the H will not be a suitable position to form a strain free ring

      If it was thermal your view is correct....
      But the correct option is 4 although since its 4n pi ring opening ie,[3,3] ring opening....it follws dis rotation....

    86 no ka ans apne gelet kiya
    wo 4n+2 system ring opening reaction hai, so in photochemical condition, conrotation is possible so the ans is no 1

    How many marks is required to qualify csir net without jrf or ls

      If you qualify the exam then you will be said LS qualified and if you get marks more than JRF Cutoff then you will be JRF.
      Cutoff varies but generally for Unreserved category is around 105+ marks for LS and 115+ marks for JRF
