Thank you, i just started Salsa dancing a few months ago and i had no understand of this structure so i was dancing the same way from start to end. It will be interesting to see how this changes the way i connect to the music.
Great video explaining the basic structure of a "Salsa" song. Understanding this structure will be very helpful for any dancers and help them improve their musicality. The one and only thing I miss in the video is the inclusion of the general duration in beats or measures/bars per section of the song.
I know some stuff already. Like "Coro". "Estampilla" "Puente". "Pregon"..... There are other things like - El final de basura - the trash-can ending. La quebrada - musical break to allow a solo instrument to play
