Crazy part is… we’ve only played the full line-up a couple times this season… glad Joe is rotating in the end of the bench, gonna need Queta, Edwards and the stay ready crew, in the post season.
We may not need the deep bench outside of Queta in the postseason. However with the new CBA the C’s will certainly need internal development, so it makes sense for Joe to run a deep rotation throughout the regular season.
@@caseyplunkett6083Absolutely. Since last season seeing Quetta have these flashes of a legit nba player I was like mazzulla better get this dude as many reps as possible because the outline is there, he just seemed like he needed a lot more experience to get comfortable and clean up all the sloppy mistakes. He’s looking a lot better than last year, but I still think there’s a lot more work to do to get him to be the guy they can really rely on for letting KP and Al rest. Dude is just a huge presence and built like a tank… if his potential is fully unlocked I think he could be a decent starting center in this league. He’s been defending a lot better too in stretches-a year ago it was very rough lol
@ I agree, except that I don’t believe that Neemy could ever be a starting Center. I did see him play in Sacramento. He was locked in to play his former team and didn’t make any of the sloppy mistakes so perhaps you’re on to something.
@@caseyplunkett6083 I guess the iq /motor/coordination could be the factors that cap him as a backup lol.. but if you put the brain of someone like Dwight howard into Neemy’s body, that would be a really great nba player. What I mean is that he definitely has the physical gifts and the athleticism on par with a decent starting center (well not close to Dwight Howard but still), but it’s the brain/coordination that holds him back. I’m not calling him stupid by any means, it’s just that nba level basketball is such a mental and muscle memory/instinct/coordination based sport and you gotta be able to read and react in less than a split second while also being able to get your whole body to execute those decisions near perfectly in real time. I mean that’s part of why I love watching this game, cause the skill and sharpness and coordination these athletes have is just insane. In my opinion that’s the area that separates Neemias from being a functional starter or a 3rd string backup. These are things that can definitely get better with more experience, and we’ve Quetta significantly improve there, so if he does fully put it together it’ll be from developing those specific abilities a lot more. You’re probably right, it’s more realistic that he ends up peaking as a quality backup. I still would argue his absolute ceiling is starting caliber, but this stuff is very hard to improve at and reality is different from a hypothetical. It’s only so far a hooper can evolve in the short physical prime humans have.
The NBA is a grown mans league. Every young team has to take their lumps before winning a title. It happened to Michael, it happened to Shaq and Kobe, it happened to Steph, KD, Jokic, and now the Celtics. It is the way of things in the NBA. Now that the Celtics have finally arrived, we could be looking a dynasty on our hands. With their roster, I dont see who is gonna beat them this year either.
People think the C's want to shoot 3s all the time. It's not that simple. Mazulla Ball is going for the best shot. If they drive and shrink the floor. Leaving someone on the perimeter open. That's the best shot. If it's unselfish ball, by passing up a fairly sure shot to a sure shot. That's the plan. If KP has a match up he can exploit. Let him cook in the paint. If Dame is the weak point of the Bucks D, they'll look to exploit him by switching until they find the match up he can't work. Killer whale offense. Mazulla is a madman. A psycho. He finds inspiration for schemes from everything. Not just ball.
The difference is that they learned if you play inconsistently tough, esp on defense, you lose They know what it actually takes and have become willing to perform consistently at that level.

Boston Celtics back-to-back champion 🏆💯

I think the food you were referring to is clam chowder.
🔥
And they’re saying this all whilst their defense isn’t in post all-star break form 😂😂😂
(Clam chowder.)
Cuz they are playing chess
Lobster roll.
