Stayed here for 14 nights two weeks ago. Had a fantastic time and the staff really made the experience worth repeating. Recommendations especially to my butler Richard G and the entertainment crew.
I remember when I used to drive on the road this hotel is built on before they create a new bypass and also I used to visit a little informal but nice beach to it's right ..so free and relaxing ...I hope the beach is still there for Jamaicans just to enjoy as they deserve..

Best hotel in JA in my opinion. Not a bad word to say! Anything you want, it's there. You can get lost with your family or mingle with the other guests, your choice. Was there 2 weeks and didn't manage to do and see everything! Going again 💯

very safe but you must always be on high alert no matter the place. I went on two tours you will be fine as long as you only leave with tours planned through the hotel.
@@raniabule7259 Very safe. We had a shuttle ride from the airport straight to the resort. Resort is walled in, with guard. No one can just straddle unto the resort, from off the street. All the workers are really friendly. As DD Love said, book your tours via the hotel. Tours take you straight to the excursion, and straight back. You'll be good its tun of fun.

Yep thats a common theme amongst many Caribbean resorts. Even though they work in paradise they never seem to be happy about the pay.

Those with kids are in the Grand side of resort only. Those staying in the Luxury side have access to all.

Nice video... curious what is special. I saw no food if this is all inclusive...I saw a lot of the swimming pool and a couple beach scenes, what about entertainment, restaurants? Water sports drinks, quality of the food. Your camera AWESOME.

how long is journey on coach from airport to hotel is it far and do they do stops
if i remember correctly its about 45 minutes away from the airport. No drop offs or pick ups along the way, just straight to the resort.
Staying here, where would I find the best snorkeling ?
When you get to the hotel, go to excursion office. They have a tun of different excursions, like snorkeling. They will let you know.

Kyle Drinks Monster Yes. As long as you are an Adult with no kids. Kids are not allowed on the luxury side.

Sony 18-105 G OSS and The Sony 16-50mm Kit lens. I used the kit lens, when I didn't feel like carrying around a larger lens.
How is this Adults only? I see kids everwhere!
There are two sides to this resort. Grand Bahia, and Luxury Grand Bahia. The Luxury Grand Bahia is adults only. Nevertheless, adults have access to the entire resort. As an adult, I was able to take footage of both Luxury and non Luxury sides. Hence why you see footage of kids.
I went to luxury bahia in runnaway bay jamaica 22oct of this year and paid the extra money because I didn't want to be nickel and dimed and I thought I would get a luxury experience with premium drinks in room, Robe and slippers, Butler service and more as described by a bahia booking agent. First off I never received a Robe or slippers, the Internet wifi never worked on my phone, my key kept not working. My room didn't get cleaned until 4 or 6 in the evening. I never heard from the Butler. I complained to front desk and they did nothing. I tried making reservations with public relations and both times the restaurant was closed when they told me it would be open. The best time I had is when I went to the Grand side, the supposed cheaper one, who seemed to know better how to treat someone. Only thing is I had to walk because all the golf carts would drive pass me empty instead of giving me a lift. In all I didn't have a good time at this resort, they always offered things they never followed up on. The premium drinks I was suppose to have in my room was a red stripe beer and a soda, it's not actually a bar it's a refrigerator and everyone I tried to speak with about my issues sent me to someone else or blamed it on a third party; I don't see myself going here again or recommending this place to someone else.

thanks for posting the video! We are thinking of going there next summer (july, 2019). i watched another video where the person was complaining that there weren't enough towels at the beach or the pool areas. Did you have that problem? Also, she complained that the beach is small. Thoughts? Thank you for your feedback. It's greatly appreciated. :-)
Fortunately, I didn't have any issues with shortage of towels. As for the beach being small, it is 3 beach sections.. they might seem small because they are divided into individual areas. In addition, it is not a shared beach with other resorts.

I went January 25-29, 2019. We had such a good time we're going back in July for 8 days to celebrate our Anniversary. We had no problems getting towels at all. You have to have a towel card to exchange for towels but there were always plenty available.
And the beach is small if you go to the "small section" lol but there are plenty sections of beach available it's just about how far you're willing to walk to get there. We were lazy and were in the last building at the end of the property. We stuck to the small beach because it was closest. It was totally fine and very close the the beach bar.

The section where you are seeing kids is the Grand Bahia Side, and as a luxury customer you have access to it. You are free to go there are not. Nevertheless, the Grand bahia Customers are not allowed on the Luxury side. Therefore its Luxury Grand Bahia, and Grand Bahia.

The Section where you saw the children is the other side of the resort, the family side. The section where you see the adults playing volley ball in the pool is the Adult section no children. As a Luxury customer you have access to both sides. But the regular customer only have access to the family side. I just filmed the family side, just for reference.
I went to the luxury grand Principe and what a terrible experience I had, from the food to dirty sheets to pool hours are limited and staff including managerial staff. I stay 7 days and wish I would of stayed home. the resort is nice but the hospitality is not luxury at all. you have been warned, proceed with cause. for those that need proof I have video and pictures to share upon request.

Sorry you had such a bad experience. But I would have to respectfully disagree with you, that this hotel is Terrible, Dirty, Food is poor and the staff is untrained. None of these things I've experienced on my 2 Trips there. Hotel was Fairly clean, tuns of food options, and food was great. The staff was very pleasant, and cool.
