Been on virtuosa twice, going again so cant be all bad. We love it age 68
Don’t get me wrong it wasn’t all bad but maybe just not to our taste. Maybe the timing of a short weekend bank holiday hop wasn’t the best for a first adventure.
The maritime museum is well worth a visit, especially the submarine. The Titanic was OK, but not as good as I hoped. With more time to read everything and watch all the footage I suspect it would have been better.
Anyone doing a weekend cruise as a first one, they're not usually as hectic as our trip was (possibly the same one shown here).
The titanic area definitely needs time and patience to fully enjoy it 🚢
I've been thinking of doing a two night MSC cruise with my family in May bank holiday next year (we have never been on a cruise before) but I don't like crowds and drunk people so I'm a bit unsure if I would like it. It was good to see in the video that you found some quiet places to go.
We definitely benefitted from finding those quiet spots. The timing (bank holiday and 2 nights.) didn’t quite work for us because it was pretty much a party cruise. It will tick the boxes for many people but not us.

@@jsadventures682 The cruise I've seen would be a two-night bank holiday at the start of May half term because I would be going with my sister and her teenage children. I have been wondering if it would be more of a party atmosphere than I'd like.

@humbug83 we have only done MSC and Disney. We love Disney, but are huge Disney fans. With Disney you get great service etc but it comes at a higher cost.
The submarine is the length against the height of the Eiffel Tower.

Went on this on the 23rd for 11 nights! First time cruising and my last! Had an horrendous time with MSC virtuoso
