- Malcolm travels across inland Australia demonstrating survival techniques that he has learned over thirty years. Ways to make fire, to locate and collect water and what to do if your vehicle breaks down.
Malcolm got me hooked onto Australia, and many years later I migrated here from Germany. Never looked or went back, why should I ? Being able to live remote in one of the greatest places on earth is all I need.
Miss this show was the best watching it with my dad
I'll say this 90% of people that go from the city to the outback if it wasn't for men like this they would die in a heartbeat I learned from people like this man he reminds me of my father
Malcolm was breaking manufactured Racial Barriers. Direct interacting and living the culture made him what he was. A true conversationalist. Thank you for posting all of these fantastic Videos.
Beautiful a man an his faithful dog..the blokes a legend
This guy is an Aussie legend he doesn’t sugar coat it he just gives it to you straight and easy it’s end of July 2023 and I’m watching this for a recap 32 years later after he made this. So much to learn and implementing one of these water techniques could save your life. My father always told me repetition is the best way to absorb anything into your brain, who knows maybe one day these skills will be useful to survive someday if something unexpected happens..
1991 seems so long ago, but it wasn’t.. just shows how far things have fallen.
I enjoyed watching Malcoms shows as a teenager and young adult a lot of these skills are still in the memory banks and I have learned others as I have got older. I was sadened to hear of his passing a true Aussie Bushman and explorer shame I never got to meet him R.I.P.
Born in 78 learn as much and as fast as you can people..times are definitely changing rapidly!
Miss Malcolm, all the best to his family

I miss him. So sad that he’s gone. So sad how he died.
I think this is the first time I noticed Malcolm using a safety belt. Law must have filtered through to the outback :-)))
