Thank you Matt, I watch what you're doing in your clear and easy to follow steps. Perfect, great too that you mention alternative possibilities/strategies along the way. Wonderful information, a perfect mix for forgetful me of reminders and new possibilities - we have so many great tools now - this one to remember and rewatch.
Very nice edit Matt, great composition. From 10 years ago huh? I find myself goin back to old photos from time to time, just to see how a re-edit would look using all the new tools in Camera Raw/Lr. Quick question: when you bring an image in for editing, do you ever click “Auto” in the Develop module first before doing anything? I remember back in the day when doing that was a joke, but Adobe has really improved that function and I use it quite often now, to give me a good starting point.
Dear Matt, always a great pleasure to hear your tutorials! Always very well explained, very inspiring, very gentle presentation! (been a big fan of you already since the old days of k****training....) :-) I wish you all success you deserve! Christian
Another great video Matt. I've got one of your No Light, No Problem courses and got a lot out of it. I'll check out your others. One question - what's the monitor you're using that we see the back of in your videos?
Another method to help deal with the banding when selecting the sky is to Select the Sky then click on subtract and select the sky again then make your adjustments. Seems odd but I saw a RUclips on this technique and it does work but not always.
Geat post! I always forget about the object selection tool !

Thanks Christian. And you can spell out Kelby :-) it's not a bad word. I was there for 10 years and enjoyed my time there very much. Thanks!

Thanks
It’s an apple XDR screen. Love it but it’s overkill for most people.
@@MattKloskowski I had no idea what the object masking tool did until this video...what a game changer!!! Thank you 😊
