yes but the CTRU is used for immediate reaction of threats and SDU is used when there is enough intelligence and evidence for a high level armed terrorism threat and SDU will only operate in very well planned operations and do not patrol on streets
@yhinz17 please see PROMULGATION OF NATIONAL LAWS 1997. it made clearly that the People's Liberation Army Hong Kong, of course including the Hong Kong Garrison, takes part in internal security. in other word, counter terrorism is one of the tasking
@yhinz17 In the times of British ruling, HK garrison was a role in anti-terrorism that supported RHKP on internal security for cordon and search, key point guard such as air port, tunnels and . . . . . commanded by the Colony "POLMIL" today, C.T.R.U. has expand to take up all space in the anti-terrorism issue, does the HK garrison stopped to support HKP in this issue anymore?
Do you speak from Experience?? Have u been in a firefight..?? More importantly..have u or ever received training in this area...and touched a real gun? So what would your expert opinion be in regards to equipment layout? How the F&&K can u compare 9mm Glock vs AK47.. What do you know about this area? Are you from Law Enforcement or Ex-Military??

不過中文大多會將SMG叫作衝鋒槍,中文的輕機槍多指Light machine gun(LMG),即班用機槍
