Comic Fiesta is Malaysia's LARGEST Cosplay and ACG event, held every December in Kuala Lumpur. ACG is Anime, Comics & Games, and Comic Fiesta attracts over 60,000 visitors to the two-day event.
Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, there was no Comic Fiesta for 2020 & 2021, therefore this year, many ACG fans came all the way to KLCC for the event. Many were caught off-guard this year because of the massive crowd that turned up on day 1 of Comic Fiesta 2022.
From this Comic Fiesta 2022 video, you can see the line from the KL Convention Centre all the way to the KLCC fountain, and it snakes a few times. Thousands of Cosplayers and ACG fans were already lined up before the event opened at 10.00 AM.
Walking through the lines of visitors, I could not help notice that many were dressed in cosplay attire, from young to old. These are truly the passionate fans. Speaking to some of them, they came from as far as Penang, but I'm sure there are many from other places.
I hope you enjoy my simple video of Comic Fiesta 2022 Day 1 KLCC as it was shot entirely with my Huawei Mate 50 Pro smartphone. This time around, I wanted to try using a smaller and versatile camera, versus my old DSLR from the 2017 & 2018 Comic Fiesta videos I did.

Literally saw my classmates in this video, wtf XD
Okay, funny story, my family and I were going to KLCC to have a picnic with absolutely ZERO KNOWLEDGE that theres would be this Comic Fiesta. So we arrived to a bunch of cosplayers (even saw one of Mechamato, epic). So yeah my sister and I just walking around the area while watching all the cosplayers lol. They all had to stand in the sun which sucks. We eventually had to go home cuz it was too crowded

You will need tickets inside convention center. But the area this video show won't require ticket

@@rinreborn7364 I didn't stay late but I heard the Suria KLCC staff locked the door to prevent people go into the mall.
Yah, KLCC locked the doors to the fountain area because too many people were just hanging around the entrance. So, to go in, had to walk around and enter through the Isetan side door.
Mingjun is correct. Most of those who did not want to go in,j ust hang around outside. There were hundreds that just 'lepak' outside, take pictures and enjoy. So, it was quite busy outside as well.

Shame the ticket sold out. So I just enjoy taking selfies and stuff outside with the cosplayers there...
Next year I'll definitely going in...and probably try cosplay myself.
Heard the tickets sold out pretty quickly, and this year CF has the most people compare to CF before Covid. Good thing I bought mine in early November
