She said that when she was a young waitress, that is how some of the restaurants in Wisconsin made it. It was quite common there. Today, I finally found someone who acturally makes chili like me and my mother...thx By the way, browning meat before hand always adds a depth of flavor to both the meat and broth that makes a big difference. I also use a paper towel to get rid of the grease. You are the only person other than myself, that I know of, that uses that technique. I had no idea there was such a thing as Chili Mac, I love Chili and I make an excellent one, but the Chili Mac thing is new to me, so I modified your recipe and made it with ground turkey, black beans & Cellentani as I didn't have elbow Mac and included green bell pepper as one of your viewers suggested, Wow! This was a hit last night for dinner, this is a recipe I'll make again, maybe I'll try it with ground beef(not a fan) regardless, I thank you for this as now I have a new easy recipe that everyone likes. :)

I think browning the meat is the best way to cook. Growing up my grandma used to do that a lot and watching your videos actually made sense to me 😃😁
