I did an Atlantic crossing in 1977, long before GPS. It was amazing. My favorite thing was the swim in the middle of the ocean. I can relate to your joy.

The experience of a lifetime. Your kids are blessed that their parents are open-minded and take on such an adventure! Congrats, I am jealous. :-) As myself a sailor too, but new to it (my second season here in Portugal, near Lisbon), I am also planning to make some longer trips in the coming years (Madeira, Azores). But this will require some more learning and a bigger boat, as I am currently sailing a tiny Jeanneau Sun 2000. I have subscribed and wish you a safe ongoing journey and more great adventures to come. Cheers, Frank

Good job guys! Beautiful sunsets and rough seas which we really enjoyed. In the same time don't be afraid to show us the troubles that you've been trough during the passage - getting see sick, feeling unwell, all your suffer, etc. All this will make your story much more real, we will sympathize and connect with you. Hi Crew. Swimming in the middle of the ocean looked wonderful and what a memory for you all. From the cold of Europe to the warmth of the Martinique you lucky people. Where I am in GB it has been cold and damp so watching the sunsets and feeling the warmth through the camera has been a pleasure. The fish looked wonderful and I bet very tasty. Well done to you all now you can rest and go exploring. The long passage across the seas was well worth it . Waiting for next video .

There are reports of many Lagoons with cracked bulkheads. You might want to establish an inspection schedule to make sure you identify any issues early.
I believe it’s not an easy thing to check 😅 And we were reassured by other owners that the design of the Lagoon 46 is completely different, because the mast is placed more to the back there shouldn’t be a problem for the bulkheads. But we’ll definitely keep it in mind. Thanks for your concern.

That's because IN REALITY most kids HATE that lifestyle. They wanna play with friends, ride bikes, etc. I actually feel bad for MANY of these kids living this life BY FORCE way too early!! Robbed of a HOMELIFE..
@Louie Louie Here's what my kids have to say to your comment: 😃 Liam (11 yo): "I don't hate the life I have on the boat, I actually love it! There are some things I miss, but living on a boat is fantastic. We get to see many new and exciting places. We are not robbed of a homelife at all, we get to spend much more time with our parents than most children do." Sky (9 yo): " We meet new children to play with everywhere we go, but we could even do without friends because my bother and I have each other. And I love that I don't have to sit in school all day, so I have plenty of time to do fun stuff."
I remember as a kid, my parents took myself and 3 brother's on a cruise, just looking into the vastness of the ocean and wondering what was below. What an amazing thought. Opened my eyes a bit. Hope your journey is safe and amazing.

The tomato plants grew a lot but didn't produce any tomatoes so we threw them out eventually, along with the herbs that all died. We only have the pinapple plant and the aloe vera left now, they got a real boost in Martinique.

Hello, can you please advice on which batteries to purchase?
Hi! We have a large BYD battery-box Premium LVL 15.4 to store the solar energy. And we switched the domestic lead acid batteries to Victron lithium.
Great video, i would like to know more about the reefs in sails do you have to put them in the sails or something. Thanks for a great sail with you.
Thanks!! We have three different reef lines attached to the mainsail that we can pull to reduce the sail area when the wind gets too strong.
