- Jordan, your DJ from Inside Insanity interviews voice actor Jess Harnell for cjtr.ca. Jess is the voice of Wakko Warner, Ironhide (Transformers) and the lead singer of Rock Sugar. I caught up with him at the Calgary Comic Expo 2013.

I loved him as Wooton because he is character that I can relate to because I am a bit of a goofball and I want to see and believe that there is good in the world. Besides I am a Christian and I was a kid when they first introduced Wooton on the show but that was way before he met and married Penny on the show. I am glad that Jess Hernall is a good role model for kids and my God continue to bless him in everything he does.

Jess reminded me of a something that made me really happy when I was one of the like 40 people in my group performing. I was performing in a choir performance and our theme was about Women. We entertained them with Young and beautiful by Lana Delray, Final B from Rent, and finally R.E.S.P.E.C.T. by Aretha Franklin all in order. There was at least to people that were like thank you for doing those songs with that group, because they were going through the situation that our theme sang about. When I heard that I was like wow we are just trying to entertain and get a good grade, and I know that this sort of thing can change lives, but I never thought about that theme that we chose to do that, and it really meant a lot to me that we helped them feel better about there situation, and I hope that they can pass on our message as well as you to pass it on to help others.
Jess, you, your band, and your voicework ROCK!!!!! I enjoyed every episode of Animaniacs as a kid and I truly wish you and yours the very best!!!!!

I am a fan of audiobooks and that really makes you appreciate those who do voice acting and Jess is one of the finest not only today but of all time. When I first heard of Rock Sugar( I have told one of my nieces that I only expect one thing from her on my birthday later this month is Reinventinator) and I then listened to the music it was mind blowing! They blend the songs so seamlessly is amazing! I have to say I love We Will Kickstart Your Rhapsody!

I just finished watching "AFV" and was curious about this "Jess" person. I had no idea it was the voice of Wakko Warner and worked on "Adventures in Oddessey." I guess that's the sign of a good voice actor.
