I think you hit the nail in the coffin. A simple game, and that's fine I still enjoyed it. My only cons were that the multiverse and time travel parts confused me (I'm not a time travel fan), the characters were a little bland, but still likeable, and the game was a little laggy for me, but besides all that I enjoyed.
Yeah I was little confused too, as I said I didn't 100% this game so I say I missed some things. Agree with the characters, bland but suited the game, bonnie stan didn't think much of. Robert was OK, he didn't get much screen time. But it is what it Is.
@@CaseysRepository It's funny with Robert not getting a lot of screen time cause he can't die and he feels like another playable character so I feel liked they could've had done more with him.
Hello :) I personally really enjoyed TCOFS, but I do have some important issues with it where I hope they don’t get repeated in future Supermassive games. Among them are pacing issues (especially Chapter 5), the way a lot of deaths are caused (a lot of them seem very unfair and counter-intuitive), the lack of a good ending (I do like bad endings, but I think there needs to be at least one good one) and how certain characters become completely irrelevant after their first death opportunity (looking at you, Jaime, but this also applies to Chris to a certain extent). As someone who liked the characters quite a bit, I hoped there would be more focus on them, so I was disappointed they didn’t get more :-/ However, the game was still very much enjoyable for me, and it’s on my top half of Supermassive games. I really liked the two timelines and how they connected, Linda’s and Madison’s dynamic, the atmosphere, the finale and the general story. I hope future Supermassive games will avoid its flaws, while also incorporating its strengths successfully :) Until next time!
Hey Tatjana! I only got 1 death in my first playthrough, so didn't get to experience alot of them. I suppose for this game, if your gonna collab with another studio, you need to make sure you if it has a good chance of taking off. And sometimes the flaws come in. But I'm glad you enjoyed the game!
Personally, I feel like it’s better than the dark pictures and it has more a bit of the story even when you unlock new paths it makes the game more interesting I am not really into dead by daylight but I learned all about the universe in this game. Chris is like me in a nutshell like her style I can relate to her. I gotta admit it is kind of confusing between what was Augustine doing in the first place why was Linda older than Sam the multiple universes makes it confusing, but very interesting. I know about of people probably killed Jaime through the part to save Chris Which actually there’s a way to save him if you had the fireworks from the pharmacy, what you can get them. I had some bugs here and there but out of my first Playthough I did 7hours of the game without no bugs or glitches. I realize if you fail QTE you get new scene or Rare scenes if you chose different stuff for example if you still Bonnie‘s money in Jaime garage you get a rare scene when the gang is leaving Bonnie would come out of nowhere yelling at them saying what are you shooting literally I did add that on my part 4 of that scene if you want to check it out! Keep it up Casey great video!
For me I thought there were parts in this that was worse than DPA in terms of facial animations, id like to keep playing it more and ofc id like to get the platinum. But I wouldn't be mad excited to have this. I suppose with all the various paths to take it'll explain alot. Thanks allie!
@@CaseysRepository I mean to say stealing Bonnie’s money from Jamie you get that rare scene if you have $20 give to Bonnie so he can get the fireworks however you have to choose the drugstore first to get the fireworks. there’s a lot of paths to unlock specially, if you fail the qte you will get the path unlocked I have about 39 hours in the game in general off my main account. I do like the cutting floor room to go back what collectibles you’re missing. Right now the scene all trophy is glitch until they fix it hopefully get a patch soon for it that’s the only trophy I am missing for platinum. I do have pros and cons myself, but I’ll probably make a separate video about it when I am done with my Playthough for RUclips.

@@CaseysRepository Frank Stone’s final form is one of the scariest antagonist Supermassive has made. Love the final act, think we needed like 2 more chapters in the house where each survivor is trying to make it out. The ending definitely made my jaw drop with how much it tied to Dead By Daylight. There was also a letter that you find that is from one of the first Dead by Daylight survivors. Overall, loved the game. Hoping they find a way to bring the survivors and Frank’s final form into Dead by Daylight. My favorite character was Sam Green.
@@CaseysRepository lol yeah me too. Hope they make another one. Maybe we can get a trilogy. I think Supermassive brings so much to this universe. I also really like the alternate outfits for each character.
I've played it twice and I can say that I thought the game was kinda meh, the characters although I didn't dislike them I didn't care about any of them like I got Jaime killed in my first playthrough and I wasn't angry the fact he died I was angry because it was bs the way he died, the story was interesting but really confusing towards the end, the ending was underwhelming and didn't feel like an ending and more of a setup for a Sequel, the visuals looked good nothing spectacular but it looked good, the gameplay was OK, I felt the game was too short and should've had a longer playtime with more scenes, I felt the game had no replay value the only reason I played it twice was because I played it co op with a friend and we feel the same way about the game, overall I wouldn't say it's bad or nothing but it was kinda meh. Overall 6/10 In the same week the game came out another game came out called Astro Bot which was my most anticipated game of the year and it was an absolute blast and is currently my favourite game of the year and completely overshadowed Frank Stone for me.
@@CaseysRepository I was more curious than anything leading up to it's release I was a bit disappointed but I wasn't expecting anything amazing or anything, I wouldn't say it's SMG worst game tho I think that crown goes to Man of Medan mainly because how much of a dip in quality it was to Until Dawn and I was very disappointed with it. And Astro Bot basically made me forget I played Frank Stone probably because of how fun and awesome it is, got the platinum for it as well.
@gamingwithdaniel9645 I suppose when you do a collab, it's not something that can always be good. But I think they should focus on making their own stuff without collabs unless it's gonna be really good but no one can predict the future.
@@CaseysRepository I don't mind when developer's collab I only really care if they make something good or even great, The only DBD thing about this game were the collectibles and Easter eggs, also I feel SMG has a few problems they need to fix in their and they are, don't make an unsatisfying or rushed ending, have more development time with the games so they feel complete not necessarily because of glitches mainly because I feel a lot of their games story feels rushed or incomplete with extra content to make it better, I think the motion capture and facial expressions need a lot of improvement because the faces will look really weird, and make the characters reasonable and likable to where you want the characters to survive.
