Someone looking at this is thinking 'Oh hey, this looks easy, I'll go buy this game, use this trick, and get rich quick!" To the newbies out there, be warned: In Outward, travel is much different than in other RPGs. You don't take trips, you mount expeditions. If you want to do this early, you need water, food, travel rations to travel between maps, tents to sleep in, and a backpack sufficiently sizeable to hold it all so you can run away from fights you can't win. This isn't a simple exploit you do for free, you *earn* this gold.
@Weekend Wolf this is how im experiencing my first playthrough. i would rather fuck around and figure out the game. THEN make life hard on myself. but im also only playing on hardcore so.. theres that.
This just kept me from rage quitting, because the fireplace trick doesn't really work since it'll randomly turn red, and I don't feel like wasting a bunch of silver on a bow and a ton of arrows. Without this trick, I honestly don't see how anyone has the patience to actually do this quest when you can just farm the immaculate pit over and over. 10 horror weapons gives you roughly 10,000 silver if you sell them in Levant before the price adjustment, which is only two trips to the pit, not to mention the loot you can get from the ornate chest in there too.
I like that unless you're a seasoned pro its still gonna take you like 20 hours of gameplay to be able to get to these places alive cause if you die, especially in the marsh on the way there your gonna be in one hell of a ride trying to get there and or get out with limited gear.

I would actually agree. This is one of the issues I had when playing a trog. They can't use action skills and there is very little need for money.
