Hi Susan, sounds about right. However, I would seriously consider a different sewage treatment plant. There are 2 types. Electric (the Klargester systems they have gears, cogs and motors in) and cost around £1000 a year to run. This includes servicing e.t.c I would get your builder to install a non electric sewage treatment system. No smells, no running costs, no servicing or maintenance costs, no electricity or motors e.t.c It will cost around the same to purchase but will save you at least £1000 a year.
