Ok, so I just installed mine the other day. I'm very impressed. I was worried about temperature. In the specs for the Hello it states that the operating temp threshold is -10C. I live in a climate where we get cold winters dropping well below -20C at times. After installing the doorbell and playing around with the settings I found that it displays the internal temperature. I'm assuming that is the temperature that you don't want to drop below -10C. The other night was around -12C and the internal temp was 23C. Overall I'm very impressed with the Hello and would definitely recommend. I've had nothing but issues with the Ring. Horrible video quality due to over compression.
Thanks for posting mate, really excited to get my hands on one. Would you consider doing a review of the Hello?
How do you own the device already? I thought its going to start shipping 15th or something
I got it early at home depot, they had it on the store shelves. Almost every home depot has some now I think
That's great! I'll probably have to wait another few months, since the device isn't even available for preorder here in Germany..
What's that thing on your mailbox?
Jamal Mulkey August keypad to lock door
Liamjarviss oh ok. Looks cool
The Nest Hello is only rated for -10C how has it held up so far in the cold.
I live in Canada and the temps in the winter can fall well below -10C
