@@Westyrulz the rcc leads people to a works based theology and that’s a problem. Edit to reply to person under me ) if a person holds to the official Roman Catholic understanding of salvation, he or she is not saved. Despite their vigorous affirmations, Roman Catholicism does not truly hold to salvation by grace through faith. There are Catholics who truly and fully believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone. There are Catholics who observe the sacraments as an aspect of spiritual growth and intimacy with God, not in an attempt to earn salvation. There are many Catholics who believe in the biblical doctrine of salvation and do not understand that the official teaching of the Roman Catholic Church is something very different, If the question is “will a person go to heaven if he or she holds to the official Roman Catholic doctrine of salvation?” the answer is “no.” The Roman Catholic Church teaches that salvation is by baptismal regeneration and is maintained through the Catholic sacraments unless a willful act of sin is committed that breaks the state of sanctifying grace. The Bible teaches that we are saved by grace which is received through simple faith (Ephesians 2:8-9), and that good works are the result of a change of the heart wrought in salvation (Ephesians 2:10; 2 Corinthians 5:17) and the fruit of that new life in Christ (John 15). Assurance of salvation: The Roman Catholic Church teaches that salvation cannot be guaranteed or assured. 1 John 5:13 states that the letter of 1 John was written for the purpose of assuring believers of the CERTAINTY of their salvation. Good Works: The Roman Catholic Church states that Christians are saved by meritorious works (beginning with baptism) and that salvation is maintained by good works (receiving the sacraments, confession of sin to a priest, etc.) The Bible states that Christians are saved by grace through faith, totally apart from works (Titus 3:5; Ephesians 2:8-9; Galatians 3:10-11; Romans 3:19-24). Prayer: The Roman Catholic Church teaches Catholics to not only pray to God, but also to petition Mary and the saints for their prayers. Contrary to this, we are taught in Scripture to only pray to God (Matthew 6:9; Luke 18:1-7). Priesthood: The Roman Catholic Church teaches that there is a distinction between the clergy and the “lay people,” whereas the New Testament teaches the priesthood of all believers (1 Peter 2:9). Sacraments: The Roman Catholic Church teaches that a believer is infused with grace upon reception of the sacraments. Such teaching is nowhere found in Scripture. Confession: The Roman Catholic Church teaches that unless a believer is hindered, the only way to receive the forgiveness of sins is by confessing them to a priest. Contrary to this, Scripture teaches that confession of sins is to be made to God (1 John 1:9). Mary: The Roman Catholic Church teaches, among other things, that Mary is the Queen of Heaven, a perpetual virgin, and the co-redemptress who ascended into heaven. In Scripture, she is portrayed as an obedient, believing servant of God, who became the mother of Jesus. None of the other attributes mentioned by the Roman Catholic Church have any basis in the Bible. The idea of Mary being the co-redemptress and another mediator between God and man is not only extra-biblical (found only outside of Scripture), but is also unbiblical (contrary to Scripture). Acts 4:12 declares that Jesus is the only redeemer. 1 Timothy 2:5 proclaims that Jesus is the only mediator between God and men. Many other examples could be given. These issues alone clearly identify the Catholic Church as being unbiblical. Every Christian denomination has traditions and practices that are not explicitly based on Scripture. That is why Scripture must be the standard of Christian faith and practice. The Word of God is always true and reliable. The same cannot be said of church tradition. Our guideline is to be: “What does Scripture say?” (Romans 4:3; Galatians 4:30; Acts 17:11). 2 Timothy 3:16-17 declares, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” It’s not a matter to think again as you have perhaps you should consider you neither were a Child of God as a Anglican or Roman Catholic though 🙏✝️
@@robmarshall956 Please think again. I walked from the Anglican for many decades ago. The Lord graciously, a poor sinner, lead me to the Catholic Church and I have never looked back. Welby and co might as well abandon the word CHURCH. They abandoned Christianity decades ago. There are still those amongst the Laity who kept the faith, but even they must walk away now. If they're not a church anymore....what are they?
But the English word Church is not a translation of Ecclesia though. It's a Germanic word that comes from the German 'Kirke' similar to the Scottish 'Kirk'. Church and Ecclesia are not the same at all. With Ecclesia, Jesus is speaking about a group of people, His Disciples. Therefore, the meaning has more to do with Community or Fellowship or Assembly who are separated for a special purpose. Kirke means a house of a lord.

You don't need to start another church. Which is what started all this mess in the first place. Come home to the One True Holy Catholic Apostolic Church. Watch "The Mass of Ages."
The loss of Christian values that Britain had has been thrown away just in my life time. As a child in the 1940's I still remember the high profile religion played in our school day, morning prayers and hymns were conducted in assembly before any lessons, our allegiance to God and our country was clearly spoken by every child and teacher every morning. You greww up with a notion of loyalty to authority and the world was a better place for it. Respect and dignity has disappeared from our lives and it has left us in a state of anarchy. Godless and lost.
They've chipped away at Christian values bit by bit. Then the woke agenda was introduced whereby we are supposed to tolerate all kinds of sinful practices. In fact, not only tolerate them but embrace them. When a Church fails to warn people about their sin and in fact encourages it, then that church fails. The CoE is in fact a failed church. I do acknowledge though that many parishioners and Laity still stick by their Christian values. Welby is in the minority of the worlds Anglicans however. GAFCON and the Anglican churches of the global south now account for 85% of the Anglican communion.

We would have had another schism soon after over the issues of homosexual marriages and female ordination.
@@questionmark3583 I know and I'm glad also we didn't and it wouldn't have been possible to go into communion because we put a stop to this because the anglicans wanted to ordain women and allow sodomising "marriage"

@@pamelanovelli1239 I agree the Roman Catholic Church fits that man made traditions false Gospel, made of man not the Bible. Roman Catholicism is not about bringing people to Jesus. It is a false religion, and those who follow it are being deceived. The Catholic Church was founded during the reign of Constantine, circa 312 AD. At first its purpose was to combine pagan tradition with religion, then it evolved into the sanctioned church of Rome. The result? Catholic teachings are unbiblical and meant to keep the people in line without allowing them to actually learn anything about God. There are no Bible studies in the Catholic Church, just meaningless rituals like repetitious prayer, something Jesus warned us not to do. Instead of praying to our Lord Jesus, they pray to Mary. The worship of Mary is not biblical but just an idea some pope came up with. They removed the 2nd Commandment because it forbids idol worship and forbids the erection of statues in the likeness of Jesus or Mary or anything that would become an object of worship. They teach that good works are required to earn salvation. The Bible says salvation comes by the grace of God through faith alone, Ephesians 2:8. You won’t reach heaven just because you think you’re such a good person. And worst of all, they have forbidden the priests to marry, and they put limitations on eating certain foods. These doctrines are ungodly, and the proof can be found in 1 Timothy 4:1-3. Here, God warns us against these evil men who would command the people to observe ideas that the Bible refers to as, “doctrines of demons.” So if you’re Catholic and think you’re a born-again Christian, guess what, you’re not. You won’t find salvation in a false, man-made religion. In John 14:6, Jesus said,”I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me.”
But Brett walked away from the Church of England and joined another body and it is that which has dismissed him not the official C of E. We have had much higher levels of crime in the UK than we have now, we just have the internet to magnify these few horrific incidents.

What has the word church got anything to do with the apostasy, the disciples were apostates and the word church was good enough for them, don't get confused between God's true followers and the false ones.
@@MadeiraFonsecaThe Jews rejected Christ....two thousand years later you still await his arrival. Were there not enough prophesies fulfilled by Christ and enough miracles for those who were given the old testament to work out that Christ IS Messiah?
@@WHU63Not every Jew rejected Christ, to a man every disciple was a Jew, otherwise we wouldn't have the New Testament. To this day a small number, yet growing, are being saved by accepting Yeshua as their Lord and Saviour and this is a fact you can always look up, One for Israel for example. During these times of apostasy and the approaching Apocalyse there will be a national revival in Israel.
@@WHU63 Nowhere in the "Old Testament" does it say the Messiah is going to be a miracle worker; in fact Deuteronomy 13 warns us to be wary of miracle workers. Remember, Pharaoh's magicians could duplicate miracles. JC didn't fulfill any prophecies regarding the Messiah; have people beaten their swords into plowshares and learned war no more? Have the twelve tribes of Israel been restored? No and NO. JC told his disciples to sell their coat and buy a sword, and the Jews were scattered after he was here. It sounds more like JC is the anti-messiah.
I agree with this. We had an incident at a Church of England church (which lead us to leave) and when push came to shove, those I considered to be friends in Christ closed ranks. It felt very much to us as though the church was protecting itself no matter what the facts of the case. Very corporate in behaviour.

The church that God recognises will always be rejected by the false shepherds. Jesus looks on the heart not on the building or the denomination. I was rejected because I spoke the Truth. It is not an easy walk but God provided ALL the way. HE kept His word and, at 75, even though I am still alone, He continues to provide. I have learned a LOT of God's truth and learned how to be content and to wait on God. I would never swap my path even though it was very dark and very difficult. I learned to see beyond and see the Truth.

Your comment as to general safety in our communities touched me Brett. I recall as a young boy (Early 60's) walking into the local police station and chatting with the officers there. They showed us the cells and stuff like that, but I noticed that is was like any other office, accountant, solicitor, whatever. I visited two police stations in the last couple of years. They are like fortresses; military grade Lexan protecting the officers at the desks, slivers of openings so that visitors are cut off. The waiting room has everything bolted down, camera in every corner. Metal doors securely locked leading into the rest of the station. If even the police don't feel safe in their own station??? This all happened slowly and we haven't been watching.
I think this took off under Bliars govt. & They spent taxpayers ££ without consultation, but since, some police stas hav closed/ partly closed( also magistrate courts) - wasting this ££

if a person holds to the official Roman Catholic understanding of salvation, he or she is not saved. There are many Catholics who believe in the biblical doctrine of salvation and do not understand that the official teaching of the Roman Catholic Church is something very different, If the question is “will a person go to heaven if he or she holds to the official Roman Catholic doctrine of salvation?” the answer is “no.”
The Roman Catholic Church teaches that salvation is by baptismal regeneration and is maintained through the Catholic sacraments unless a willful act of sin is committed that breaks the state of sanctifying grace.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 declares, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”

Not surprising if the C of E abandons the word church (ekklesia), as it has already turned its back on Christianity.
Welby and co might as well abandon the word CHURCH. They abandoned Christianity decades ago. There are still those amongst the Laity who kept the faith, but even they must walk away now. If they're not a church anymore....what are they?
You mean that weird lot have.

UK!! England is not a country!
I rem those assemblies in the mid-late 60's n BBC had Jesus of Nazareth series. Plus others. How far we have fallen now!

MANMADE REBELOUS faith, Christ did not make this church but a man that found fault in the already created and recreated it ;( Diluted man-made not Christ made and this hurts Christ deeply for one says NO to Christ taught truths teaching what they think is right it is truly DELUITED
Here, God warns us against these evil men who would command the people to observe ideas that the Bible refers to as, “doctrines of demons.”
So if you’re Catholic and think you’re a born-again Christian, guess what, you’re not. You won’t find salvation in a false, man-made religion. In John 14:6, Jesus said,”I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me.”
The CoE was fully fallen by the time of the murder of Saint John Fisher, and over a million like him.
But Brett walked away from the Church of England and joined another body and it is that which has dismissed him not the official C of E. We have had much higher levels of crime in the UK than we have now, we just have the internet to magnify these few horrific incidents.
I have left the C of E and now attend a Free Evangelical Church ✝️
JOSHUA 1:9 "Haven't I commanded you: Be strong and Courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord your God is with you."
Hello Rev. Brett..I'm a Christian from the North East of India. The Welsh missionaries came to our part of the country to share the love of Christ with our ancestors in the 19th century. Now Christians make up around 76 per cent of the population. When the revival took place in Wales around 1904, we had a revival in 1906. We owe a lot to the Welsh missionaries for introducing Christ to us. My ancestors were ostracized from the clan for accepting Christ as our Lord and Saviour. But we proudly carry the name of Jesus with us to this day. Some of our ancestors were taken in by missionaries when we were abandoned.
We've been blessed beyond measure . But now it saddens us very deeply to see churches closed down and people abandoning their God. I hope there's a revival again in Wales as well as in the whole of UK.❤❤

During these times of apostasy and the approaching Apocalyse there will be a national revival in Israel.

2 Timothy 4.3 they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. We have arrived at this time.
The church has been there for well over a century.
All Of This Wokery Will Never Be Forgotten. Shame On Them.
😮 - wokery may be a fulfilmt of Paul's Prophecy : 2 Timothy 4 - -38:06-- - not endure sound doctrine but turn to myths/fables; also 2 Tim 3 --in th last days men -- arrogant,-- lovers of pleasures -----, unholy , despisers -- etc
The Church of England is not a church it is a Social Club
As is the Salvation Army, and other tea clubs or disco.
Or a Freemason club plus plus plus
😮 sadly, + 50% is , but there at faithful remnants- praise God. Yu gotta seek them out. Sadly I hav attended several ' dead / stagnant Churs here- ( UK midlands) Sadly Methodist Church has grown worse (liberal-ism)/ ' false tolerance' { Jesus, Paul didn't 'toletate' blatant sin & false beliefs. NB th word lisnt in my bible noris 'diversity' .
😮 ? Pleas giv evidence for your view on th Salv Army ! @@ShirleyShirley-t5f
From the Clergy to the Laity WE all need a great Repentance like Daniel 9. God in Christ is faithful to all His promises. 😢
Sir absolutely love your work.Watching from Sydney Australia
Also watching from Australia. God bless
I'm watching while wandering in Australia, currently Queensland.
I was originally Anglican, but switched to Catholicism back in 1977/8 when I was just 19. Glad I did. Since I converted the anglicans have started to ''ordain'' women, against the teaching of the Scripture, and later has even made them ''bishops''. Even worse they now approve of same-sex ''marriage''. I have never looked back. Even when I switched in the 70s the idea of same sex ''marriage'' would have been horrifying. Now anyone who opposes it is branded a ''hate-filled bigot''. Some have tried to bring ''wokeness'' into our Church but most of us do not accept it.
I wish you the best and you should investigate our Church.
Many Anglicans are going to Catholicism and Pentocostal or Baptist churches. The CofE are not Biblical.
Church doors are locked. One, a tourist attraction, always open, with camera.
I think this took off under Bliars govt. & They spent taxpayers ££ without consultation, but since, some police stas hav closed/ partly closed( also magistrate courts) - wasting this ££
