Great video, thanks for uploading! Yo, I am curious what exact tire you put on the bike? I am not sure if I missed in the video what particular models of tires you were able to put on. I want to get a wider tire on my Mx5 and just was hoping to ensure they'll fit correctly before I order them, thanks, braaap!
Easy process, getting the tire on was no problem. Trimming took the most time. Probably about 30 mins spent trimming it be perfect and clear the chain. Did not affect handling at all.x
@@Johnncasella Great! I just picked up the MX5, and I'm shocked at the lack of information out there about fitting these larger 100/90 tires to the rear. It seems like a no-brainer for increased traction and stability. I was worried about chain width and all that, but I'm glad to see it worked out well. I'll be trying this soon. Great video, and I appreciate the reply. Cheers!
@donbotting5700 so I started at like 28 psi front and rear which was entirely too much to say the least lol. I ended up airing them both down like mid ride which helped a lot, if I had to guess I probably took a good 8-10 psi out of them. So most likely was somewhere around 18ish. That might even have been a little too much, going to try down around 15 psi and see how that goes next.

Hi ,what did you use to trim the tyre sides ?
super curious about the process of putting it on, did the trimming affect handling?
