One of the BEST female vocalists of the '80s she has such warmth and emotion, along with great dynamics. You don't hear that with today's female singers. She saw where country music was headed and she was smart not to compromise her style for what was to happen with country music. she is happy just being Charly and staying out of the business. Good for her, but sad that we can not enjoy that voice with new music.

I'm so glad she recorded this song. I remember hearing Reba's version and liking Charly's better. Her voice is like velvet!
