The Uncharted series is simply mankind's greatest achievement ever. Penicillin is a distant second.

Completely agree this game is masterpiece. Only gripe is jungle section bit too long. Gamers always find faults. Nothing is perfect this is damn near close!

Amazing level of detail in this game. You really feel as though you're in a Hollywood blockbuster. Unfortunately for me, the endless climbing gets old fast and the gunplay is quite mediocre. I pushed to the end more due to see the amazing locations rather than because I was actually enjoying the gameplay.

Honestly I absolutely loved the climbing, the way climbing is animated is ridiculously good, the way that your character connects almost perfectly smoothly with the terrain while climbing is very impressive. Gunplay though not so much, at least on PC with mouse, aiming felt super weird for me and there wasn't much impact felt from the guns, though the game as a whole package is an absolutely amazing experience, probably 9/10.

Everyone has their own opinion and I never question that. My own opinion about this game and the other 3 are that they are some of the best games I've played.

Its a very casual game with very little gameplay and a very pretentious 'mature' story.
I remember purchasing a PS4 slim just for this game and also somewhat enjoying it....but never felt like replaying it again.
Played it on PC but was forcing myself to finish it.
There are a lot of 'quipy' dialogues in U4 that reminded me of the serial "FRIENDS" from the 90's...that many of my relatives and friends seemed to be THOROUGHLY enjoying whereas I just didn't find them even remotely funny.
This 'game' looks good in youtube walkthrough videos but imo falls flat when you are actually playing the damn 'movie'.
I have played 2d/3d puzzle platormers from 15 years back that were more creative with their 'puzzles and platforming'.
Wrt relationship, I thought Nate and Sam played off each other fairly well, whereas Nate and Elena were very typical married couple with regular issues that most couples have. They tried to make it all very 'deep' with the emotional outbursts but for me they felt absolutely flat.
Rafe was totally wasted (they could have done so much more with his character).
    Nadine was a fucking joke.
Alcazar with his 1 mission presence was a WAY more interesting character than the 'Strong ass' Nadine.
The trinket search was as shallow as it can get.....there needed to be some other very strong reason to wander off the beaten path other than to just pick collectibles for the sake of collecting them.(some detailed historical text to read about them tying them to the plot would not have been too difficult to implement imo.)
TLL had an even more idiotic story with graphics to dazzle the casual consumer.
Sam is now a purely comic character and wasted in his role.
The 'quipy' dialogues between the 2 females are even more grating than in U4.
All in all for me U4 was a 'fast food' game.
For once ND had so much material to work with (as against basic stories of the previous entries), and they half assed it with a pretentious story.

The game itself (gameplay, mechanics, etc) is like some games and just a fun action packed game. But the storytelling, the characters, the voice acting, the emotion: they’re like real people. When I play through uncharted, it’s like being with your friends or family. I know these characters so well and loved getting to know them. That’s why these games are so amazing. It’s become personal to many people.

Another well rounded & detailed profile of a fantastic game & series, most enjoyable my friend!
Similar to the dynamic of "GTA-5" being my personal favorite of them all in that series, even though there's certainly numerous capaigns that are just as great as the fifth for their time.

The story had loads of potential however they shit the bed. The ending and writing overall is predictable and very contrived. Also Nates ark didnt make any sense because emotionally he ended up where he started. He already did not want to go searching for tHe tReAsUrE, so for Nates ark to be that he was leaving that life behind was illogical. He already left that life behind, he only went on this last one to help his brother. It would have made much more sense for Nate to the obsessive one, and his brother Sam teaming up with Nates wife to «save him» from himself

oh its overrated, i love the older titles more. The adventure on those game were superbly done. In this you focus alot on ur brother which drags the pacing

There are two major problems that prevented me from truly loving this game.
Problem #1: Nate’s character. Early on it’s established that Nate and Elena are now married. Although he misses the globetrotting life, he is happy. That is, until Sam shows up. All of a sudden Nate is now PERFECTLY FINE with keeping his brother a secret and lying to Elena for weeks to dodge suspicion. There was no reason to lie. He just decides to SO THE GAME CAN HAPPEN. This also affects Sully. More than once, Sully confronts Nate about what he is doing to Elena. Nate gets defensive and puts Sam’s freedom ABOVE Elena. Does Sully stick to his guns? Does he try to show Nate his error? No. He backs down EVERY SINGLE TIME and basically says “whatever.”
Problem #2: The not-so-subtle feminism. You heard me right: feminism. Nadine is a COMPLETE FABRICATION and unrealistic in almost every way. There is NO WAY an athletic, mid-to-late 30s man who has taken out scores of others just like him would struggle against a small frame woman. And she’s not just tough. No…SHE CAN BREAK TABLES AND WALLS while our hero can’t! Every scene Nadine is in portrays her as the strongest character on screen at the expense of others. Rafe is made to look like a pouting manchild simply so that Nadine can look strong.
Don’t get me wrong. I did enjoy the gunplay. I enjoyed the climbing even if it got repetitive. I just can’t love a game that breaks it’s characters for the sake of plot convenience and agenda.

today i went to play uncharted 4 and i was in apologo and in that part where sam fixes the boat and nathan goes back to driving me from there the game doesn't advance. I mean go ahead but after that part of Sam fixing the boat when I go back to driving with Nathan normally some stones would appear and the boat would be pushed by another one in flames. But I went to play and none of that appeared and I was always stuck in that part of the apologo. Does anyone know what is going on
