I tried playing this game blindly and I had no idea what I was doing. I defined controlling Peppino like controlling a race horse on skates, or like sonic on steroids. It's so astonishing to me to see how people can be able to just use that to their advantage in speedrunning. I can't be able to process a single thing in this game without bumping into the same wall 5 or so times lmao. Either way, great job and great video!

So after watching the whole video: Here’s my take on Pizza Faces reason for his war crime… Peppinos and Pizza head were two competing restaurants with Pizza Heads being the animatronic one. However Peppino was just doing better so out of pure spite, P.H made the restaurant into the tower. Just adding more and more and more fun things to it, and eventually tried to have Peppinos Pizza merge with it since it was still doing decently but not good enough with the debt. Peppino refused, which eventually made P.H try to make a clone (but clearly that didn’t go as planned) so out of pure spite, P.H decided to just blow up his restaurant… Little did he know the fury of an Italian man was stronger than his tomfoolery.

I’ve been playing Pizza Tower on the Switch lately, and I’ve currently gotten P Ranks for every level in floors 1-3, and I have to say, for as challenging as it is to get them, getting P Ranks for levels felt really challenging in a good way. The fact that any given level layout has no RNG means that P Ranking a level will come to you as long as you just keep practicing it and getting a consistent route. Sure, some levels were more frustrating than others, but so far with everything I’ve done, it’s never felt insurmountably difficult. Impressive run, BTW.
Above all else, your endurance in doing this is really impressive. I haven’t played pizza tower, but I do play ultrakill, which I think is probably comparable in terms of sustained mental effort needed. I’ve gotten to the point where I can pretty comfortably keep my style rank at max, but I’ve only made it to wave 28 in cyber grind because I can’t keep it up for so long.
This game is a true little masterpiece. It was a pure pleasure to watch. I laughed throughout the entire viewing. This kind of game comes out very rarely. Masterful game! Bravo! 🍕

Honestly starting out I was the same way, you get the handle of it after a while and controlling Peppino ends up feeling pretty natural.
