I travelled from Baku to Seki and was SHOCKED! Is this really AZERBAIJAN? 🇦🇿

- I ventured out of the city and into the Azerbaijani countryside. Thinking it would be a dusty desert I was amazed to discover a green and pleasant land, lovely people, amazing food, incredible architecture, decent infrastructure and 5 star hotels - this country has ALOT to offer tourists.

Hello. You speak very fluent and clear English, i don't need to go to a course, i can learn English quickly by watching your videos 😊 Sheki is a very beautiful tourist city, you should go to Lahic, Gabala, Ganja and beautiful place Göygöl. We have two ways to say thank you ( Cox Sagol ) and ( Teşekkür Edərim ) 😄 our language belongs to the Turkish language family group, we speak the same language in Azerbaijan and Turkey, only the dialect is different. I wish you a wonderfull nice travel day ❤️🇦🇿

Teşrkkür edərim türk dilindədir. Deyəsən dilinizi unutmusuz. Nə tez osmanlaşdız, türk kanallarına az baxın. Azərbaycan dilində Təşəkkür edirəm deyilir. Çaşdırmayın camaatı. Bisavad. İngiliscə ağıl verməzdən əvvəl öz dilinizi düzəldin.
I really recommend trying Ash-gara which is a rice meal with meat, raisin and dried apricot topping. I learned the recipe and did it in France. Everybody was in love with that.
Other than that as you are in Sheki you should try piti. It is a type of lamb soup.
Dovgha soup is also an amazing dish made of yogurt, herbs and sometimes chickpeas.
Lastly, Lavangi is a blessing. It is hard to find I think but if you get the chance just go for it. It is a chicken filled with a mix of walnuts,onion and plum sauce.
These dishes are eaten on a daily basis unlike saj or kebabs.

This wine-coloured (pink) spice is called "Sumakh" or " Sumac". It comes from Arabic 'summaq' which means "dark red". This spice is also popular in Azerbaijan-in our cuisine. It normally gets well with fish and qutab. I wanted just share with you. Btw Happy birthday 🎉🎉❤.

The reason why the landscape changes in Azerbaijan so fast while driving, because Azerbaijan has 9 climate zones out of 11. It shapes the landscape accordingly and makes the country very picturesque.
The red spicy is called Sumac. You can find it in Waitrose in London. It is terrible that they spoiled your birthday in that restaurant. It is always good to ask the price before you order. Otherwise, say that want to talk to the manager or complain to the quality inspector organisation or police. Because it is illegal to sell you anything without knowing the price in advance. Well, to have London prices in that restaurant sounds scary.

I live in Azerbaijan, visit Astara in Azerbaijan, please.) Azerbaijan experiences 9 out of 11 climate types. And Astara has a unique tropical climate. It is not far from Lankaran. It is located at the bottom of our country on the map.

Gabala is closer to Baku. It takes less time to commute there. I would also recommend you to go to Shusha. It is the cultural capital of Azerbaijan, which was just liberated from the thirty years of occupation in 2020.

Marxal hotel in Sheki was the right choice, - so lovely place to stay for a couple of nights at least, and with a number of authentic local cafes around

Actually you can enter to the whole section of the mosque with proper clothing. That signage 'female only' is the section allocate to female area during praying hour in group or jemaah . Male and female are segregated during pray hour
