When he said “I go in the gym…usually with my daughter” I was picturing him at an actual public gym…then I remembered this guy is Ed Sheehan lol he walked downstairs 😂😂
It’s not that he respects the culture, hes a humble person and respectful to any culture and isn’t big headed or to “big” for people - he’s a people’s person
I don't give a fuck how anyone feels about this but there needs to be more people in the world like Ed. This guy litterally is just real, clearly does not fear the consequences of being anything but himself. Big up Ed and Big up Zeze.
@@itsfaithkay it actually is in this context. Plenty of white artists who collaborate within this music scene don’t have the humility to know how to navigate or respect real grievances people have about culture vultures & appropriators. Ed has clearly been conscious of this & it reflects in his interviews and generally how he operates with other artists.
Ahhh come and see, you know if you say this in real life its cringe, its only on social media... Besides you don't even look black why speak for us kmt.
I've never seen or heard of this woman before in my life, but I teared up watching Ed encourage her to verbalize her dreams and her pushing through her fear of saying them out loud. Such a beautiful moment. And how they didn't want to stop talking? I am totally rooting for this stranger now, to achieve everything she wants to in life.
This is the guy Wiley tried to call culture vulture… he’s been a part of the culture longer than most current artist & given more to culture than most.
Wiley didn't try, he did! What has Ed "given" to "the culture"? Which unsigned artist has he supported, the way he was? What foundations has he set? Lets not forget he ripped off Marvin Gaye's song and was forced to settle! Was that for "the culture"?
Ed is most definitely one cool cat!!! I just recently bought “Subtract” and for about 2 weeks or more I took that album in the car with me and played it. Now I’m onto other things but “Subtract” is one of my favorite albums of the year I definitely believe in the message that you won’t always be okay. And I do understand that. I’ve had an Uncle and a friend of mine recently pass away both in April about 11 days apart. Anyway awesome interview keep it going. ✌🏻
Ed is a G, I appreciate the pre SBTV history. Despite the discussion of cultural appropriation which isnt down to ed but the society and culture. Ed has never been cringey and tried to act black or force only having black models in videos..... Ed really just enjoyed his music and made it through genuine connections.
Beautifully captured with love and admiration from Zeze and Ed. Showing love on each other's craft. I would love to hear in the very close future Zeze invited Greentea Peng for a conversation and catch up. 💜🙏🏾
Wish I could meet Es Sheeran. I am a 76 year old that has dealt with mental illness for most of my life. You are a inspiration to me. You have a story to tell. I loved to tell people about what it feels like to talk about Mental Illness. Thank you for being a listening ear. It is so hard to sometimes talk to people about it. You have come a long way young man. Wish I could say the same
Ed Sheeran is doing the rounds of going back to grassroots content creators. Looking forward to what Wiley will have to say in the near future but in any case. Ed Sheeran knows who is core audience truly is. No matter how far you go. You will always show support and appreciation for other similar platforms that put you on.
He‘s just real and wonderful and i love how he wants to go on and on with interviews. He‘s done that so many times. But i didn‘t think that Zeze‘s questions were that great.
I love when she mentioned that she loves interviews that don't just talk about the album release; that they're actually a conversation. I get so tired of watching interviews with a musician (or actor who's movie is coming out) and it's the same ol shit. Like how many times can they answer the same questions? Loved this interview and she asked so many in depth (yet respectful) questions. Other interviewers, take note. This is who you should emulate. 👏🏻
