  • Watch me speaking (mainly) Norwegian and a bit of Tagalog in this winter vlog during Christmas time in 2021. Join me how I spent my free weekend doing my regular house chores, visiting a Christmas market called “Jul i Vinterland”, which basically translates into “Christmas in winterland”, and my first attempt to make this filipino noodle dish called Palabok.
Feel free to let me know what you think about this video and leave any questions down below about learning Norwegian. Hope you enjoy!
Side note: Even if I have completed my B1 level in Norwegian, it is still challenging for me to talk grammatically correct. As a result, you’ll be seeing corrections in the subtitles to highlight the mistakes in those sentences. I want to show everyone that learning a language comes with trials and errors. It is a life-long process which cannot be completed in a short period of time - you’ll never stop learning. Remembering all those rules as you speak is still tough - but it will become easier!
*pps: I was wearing a beanie while cooking to protect my hair from smelling like food lol

I love this type of video! I especially love your subtitles and how you added the word you should've said instead. My family is Filipino also and you make me want to try making my favorite dish - Afritada - for my first time!

Thank you, I appreciate that! Yes, just to make it clear that I still make mistakes even if I've been studying for a long time now. Ohhh I love afritada too, but I haven't had it for such a long time now. You should definitely give it a try when you have time😊

Also bezüglich Büchern kann ich dir "Et år i Norge" empfehlen.

I recently discovered your channel and really like your videos. It has very cozy and friendly atmosphere :) also it was interesting to see Norwegian learning videos because I'm thinking about learning thr language too.
It would be really interesting to hear about advantages and disadvantages of living in Norway in your opinion. I've heard some opinions that it's dirty in streets and a lot of drug addicts in streets🤔 is it true?

I'm glad to hear that, thank you so much! and just give it a try, norwegian is a beautiful language🥰 ja maybe, that could be a video idea.
about the streets being dirty: I honestly have seen worse in other european countries. norway seems to be pretty good with that. but ofc on early saturday and sunday mornings you will always find some traces from last night parties.
drug addicts on the streets: ya, there are certain areas in oslo which are a bit known for those. it's not dangerous at all but just recommended to watch out a little. I myself go anywhere, it doesn't really bother me😅
