Place your pendulum under your pillow when you go to sleep. Have your books of dream ready to write everything and then use the pendulum to dowse over what you wrote. Especially when dreams that needs interpretation.

why place a pendulum under your pillow what else would it do?
FreeSpirit ... Because placing any divination tool under your pillow will help the tool merge with your subconscious so you can tap into more accurate answers. When you waking up your brain is in an alpha state that can allow you to be more intuitive and can help you develop a deeper relationship with your tool. This can also work with Tarot, Runes, etc. There is always different ways of doing things though but I find sleeping with a tool under the pillow works great especially when you don't feel connected to it at first.

Julissa, I used to be scared of that too. What I used to do at the beginning was wrap it in a small cloth to pad it a bit and I would put it inside the pillow case. If you are still too afraid of breaking it though, you can place it on a night stand or somewhere nearby while you sleep.
If you decide to place it on a night stand or wherever while you sleep, I'd take a couple minutes before and sit with your tool and ask that it open up to you, then when you first wake up in the morning take a minute doing the same.
You can also carry it with you all the time like in your purse or pocket until you bond with your tool. Hope this helps.

A similar thing happened when I got my first pendulum about a year ago. I was never really interested in pendulums and only focused on tarot and crystals. But one day while I was in the shop I came across a rack of pendulums and one immediately gave me an image of my late stepdad. So I went over and picked it up and it gave me a warm and calm energy. I put it down and went around the store one more time. I ended up getting the pendulum before I left.
That’s what happened when I got my pendulum! If jumped out at me so I had to buy it.
I love this lifestyle, this religion, everything about it... I know in my heart that it's right, but I struggle so hard accepting it for myself... I don't know what it is. It's so beautiful, I have so much respect for it and yet I have such a hard time awakening myself... sorry for the rant, I just need to vent my thoughts lol

Pendulums are an extension of your spirit guides, different stones could enhance different guides, higher selves.
This is what I feel as well. The subconscious mind causing movement doesn’t resonate with me. But they do have a sense of humor. And many things aren’t meant to be known ;)

When you say pendulums have their own character it's true. Sometimes it's surprising, one of mine just doesn't want to be used as a normal pendulum. After several questions, the conclusion was this pendulum came to me as an amulet and energy transmitter, and not as a pendulum. I now wear it as a necklace and I also charge/cleanse water and other crystals with it :)

There is no right way a pendulum works. You can take your pendulum and ask it, if it wants to show a yes and then a no (remember to say thank you in between questions, when It shows you an answer).
Your pendulum can then go in circles or from left to right or whatever (some also shakes). There is no right way :)
I have a pendulum that goes from left to right for a yes and in circles for a no.

I love devining with pendulums! I was very young when I started to goof around with then after seeing something about them on the history channel and was amazed by how accurate they could be and how helpful!
I was surprised by your comment on the directions for answers. My childhood crystal went in circles and never sideways lines. It rotates towards the left in circles for Yes and towards the right for No. The circles start small and increase in speed and size with each rotation. 🙆
I have a pendulum story that's one of my favorite experiences I've had with all things metaphysical.
It was my 16th birthday and I had a party with family. I had a plain cake and decided to put my favorite Pokemon figures on the cake to spruce it up (This was during the big pokemon craze of the 90s hehe). My cousins were around me when I put the toys on my cake and with in a few minutes we'd blown out the candles and I had removed the toys so the cutting could begin. I turned to look for my toys so I could put them away and immediately realized Meowth was missing. He was my favorite pokemon and the cutest in my set.
I questioned everyone but no one saw it. There wasn't enough time between removing him and cutting the cake for him to have been moved as no one had left the table area so i was quickly becoming suspicious. I kept looking, kept asking and got no answers but inside I knew the answer.
Now it's sad to say but i knew 2 of my younger cousins and they are awful thieves. When they're jealous (which was often) they would steal my toys and break them and hide the evidence in my house/their house so I was well aware that my toy was in their possession and on a chopping block.
I finally announced I was going to devine out the location of my doll with my crystal pendulum. It was time to cut to the chase. LOL
My pendulum was just a cheap fake crystal necklace i got in a coin machine for 25 cents but it was my beloved and most cherished belonging. I had a very deep connection and attachment to it. It's pretty much how I got into crystals.
All my young guests (cousins and family friends) we're now excited to see me doing something "magical".. except one whom I suspected all along to be the thief. She was very quiet. I went to my room with everyone following me and made a show of getting out my pendulum and then drawing a map of my house.
"This map of my house will let me know which room Meowth is in. From there I'll find out who has it..." I announced as I hovered my pendulum over the map. All my guests looming in around me to see. My suspect glued to my side now and still very quiet (she was never quiet LOL).
I then asked "Where is my Meowth toy?" My pendulum slowly began to spin and before it completed a spin it RIPPED FROM MY FINGERS AND SLAMMED TO THE DESK. We all sat in shock for a millisecond as I looked at the location of the crystal, off my map, but noticed it seemed to be telling me "look where i am pointing." My eyes followed the direction of it's pointed end to see my Meowth toy on my desk sitting atop the junk of my pencil basket. Everyone was roaring with excitement though my suspect was just wide eyed and opened mouth. There was just no way that toy got to that basket unless someone quickly ditched him there in a hurry.
She never admitted stealing it and I never called her out on it but my things never went missing again after. LOL

I just picked up my first pendulum yesterday. I went through about 5 and kept circling back to the amethyst one. None of the others would move over my hand. When i had the amethyst i could actually FEEL the circles it was making on my hand (it wasnt touching obviously) lol. But i knew right then that was mine! Such a powerful connection!

I believe my pendulum found me. I was in the bookstore on the religion/metaphysics aisle.. looking for nothing specific but just a book to get me some basic knowledge on witchcraft. I picked up the pendulum book/box but I put it back down. I kept browsing the area and the book fell. I immediately caught it and readjusted it back on the shelf… in a position where it for sure wouldn’t fall again!!! I kept looking around the area and moments later, it fell again. Right before I decided I wouldn’t get anything, something told me to get the pendulum box that kept falling. I think it was a sign so I bought it & I love it.

I have been using a pendulum for a few weeks now. I have used it for everything from having talked with my brother who has passed to see if my son was lying. It's pretty amazing. I have 3. All have different personalities. I have a lot to learn but what I have learned so far is amazing.

For those knocking When she says subconscious the other phrase for that will also be your “HigherSelf” which for most people communicates through their subconscious until your clear the blockages & open your soul star chakra to hear it through your crown consciously(so hearing yes or no instead).
Because the HigherSelf has access to all information so to speak, it can get you the answer that your consciousness can pull from or receive from spirit but it just comes through subconscious because most of us humans have blockages that don’t allow clear communication with spirit(which our higherself is & you can literally hear it when you get to that point).
They surprised me of how accurate they are. Yet they do give u some surprising answers, which turn out to be absolutely correct.

I would like to recommend surrounding yourself with the white light of protection before hand.
I found a few rocks in my backyard earlier today. Though I can't tell exactly what they are, some of them seem to have crystal material. I used the smallest one(which kind of looks like a smokey quartz) to make a pendulum by simply tieing a green colored string to it and I cleansed it with salt water. I'm quite proud of myself. I'm excited to try it out! 😊😁

I do my best to sit down with my pendulum every day, even if I don't have any questions. I try to transfer some energy into it by focusing and channeling my energy from my brain and heart through my hands and into the pendulum. The image that always pops up while doing this is blue lightning, and it helps me to visualize it, so I imagine to pendulum glowing blue.
You're very pretty! Thanks for the informative video. My pendulum has a clear quartz-glass crystal. For whatever reason, I found that clear quartz has given me the strongest feedback when practicing various divination techniques. :)
I was at the beach and I found a purple shell that looked like a crystal and had the shape of a pendulum. I took it with me and when I got home it hit me right away and I said "I wanna carry this as a jewlery". So I grabbed some wire gauge and wrapped the shell, took a little chain and made myself a necklace.
After I wore it for a while I wanted to give it a try and use it as a pendulum. It started giving me very accurate answers! Been using it ever since and I just really love it

There is so mush bs about pendulums out there on line and on you tube regarding yes and no, and what’s being taught time and time again is clockwise and anti clockwise to signify yes or no which is completely misguided and incorrect. Love that the first thing you address is the yes and no and how it’s correctly expressed through the pendulum as up and down =yes and east to west = no. This is because universally it’s how we express yes/no through nodding or shaking our head.

I use a string of 12 amethyst beads with a 13th bead of snowflake obsidian on copper wire with a sterling lobster claw clasp so i can keep it on my chain. You can also create a vortex. 6 or 9.
Going to try using my pendulum for the first time tonight after getting it yesterday and leaving it in the moonlight to cleanse (I was drawn to a rose quartz one!). Very new to this but very excited!

First time seriously holding my pendulum properly it was shaking, immediately I thought “cool we both have anxiety we get each other ” XD
I loved this, but a side note: not all pendulums work well in water,so maybe cleansing them in water would be a no-no. Not all crystals are water-compatible. I cleanse mine in moonlight and if they can handle the sun,then 24 hours on the window ledge.

I saw your hand moving a bit in the beginning when you were asking questions like "Am I a girl?" I don't doubt you but I am a bit skeptical, were you swinging the pendulum left and right to demonstrate or was the pendulum just moving your hand around?
Like she said the pendulum connects to ur subconscious mind so it technically is u moving it but u don’t necessarily realize consciously that ur moving it but it connects to the vibrations in your body so yes it is u moving it but u don’t swing it in big circles on purpose but it will pick up ur body’s energy and swing whichever way ur body’s energy is giving it
When I work with my pendulum I write the question on a piece of paper and fold it a mix them around They I write a number on the folded paper so I can write down 1=No 2=yes
The spirit of my relatives always help me with mine every time I use it I’m never alone 😂

funny story for interested readers: today my sister saw a pendulum and so desperately wanted it. i decided to gift her one and surprise her with the one she saw. so like 5 pendulums next to hers, was "mine", gold, and the aesthetic was royal -- queen like. it was so weird. i grabbed for it and then also took a look at the other ones and always similar shapes seemed to draw me in, but i felt a deep connection with that one in particular. so i was carrying money with me, but i backed out of buying it, i was like, I'm in tune with intuition I don't need it. i will get my sisters tomorrow. so when i got home, i could feel the sassiness, the arrogance of the pendulum that chose me. & now i just really think its funny how they, too, have personalities. i think it matched mine a bit. guess who's getting 2 pendulums tomorrow

The way I’ve always seen and used pendulums is it says yes or no by moving in a circle. So clockwise is no and counter clockwise is yes, then a left diagonal line is saying like “I don’t want to tell you” and right diagonal line is “I don’t know” but my spirit guides move the pendulum and talk to me through it so it’s not just my subconscious

I’m a Nature Lover, Born A Piscean, never really felt like I belong here, almost like an alien living on the wrong planet. I’ve always preferred Herbs over man made synthetic drugs given by doctors and my mother always had natural remedies for many illnesses.
I found myself being pulled into knowing and understanding the history of witches, so much to the point where I binged watched the series “ Salem” on Netflix. I believe witches were the first physicians in the history of civilization.
Unfortunately elitist have socially brained washed us in believing that witches were evil and of the devil etc...mind you there are people who use magic in a negative way but that doesn’t mean magic is bad, what makes it bad is the negative energy people place there evil intentions on.
I feel as though I have to be a closet witch in order not to make my husband uncomfortable with the thought of his wife being a witch at heart.
I am on this wonderful witchy explorative spiritual journey learning as much as I can to help myself and as many people the Divine we call God Will place on my path to bless and enlighten in order for them to reach their highest potential.

A couple years back my brother gave me a stone necklace, I didn't know what it was at first, ai initially thought it was a fake crystal, but I wore it as often as i can and everyday now for sentimental value to remind me of my brother, we haven't seen each other for more than a year now, i never leave home without wearing it and feel kinda guilty idk why when iwear other necklaces aside from it. It makes me feel safe and secure. Only after research did i learn it was actually a real quartz crystal. Not a fake plastic or glass one. When i attempted to use it as a pendulum, i immediately got answers from it, and feel closer to it now more than ever. I like to think of it as my protection charm.
And she said I can only talk to her and nobody else that’s the spirit but she’s really nice and I really like her she’s really good friend

The best way I find and learned from a ex-nun witch (got married to one of the priests) they both went back to Wicca. You have to contact the crystal or metal and give it instruction. Like I start by saying give me a yes. Than instructing it how I want it to respond. Clockwise for yes. Counter for no.
I have a necklace with a long chain and a gold wire wrapped Quartz Crystal at the end. I'm gonna use that until I can find a pendulum I like.

My Dowsing Pendulum is a second opinion whenever I have doubt when there are several solutions to a problem, which means my pendulum turns clockwise for YES and anticlockwise for NO and before introducing someone to a Dowsing Pendulum I ask the appropriate question and look for a YES response.

I like to use lapis lazuli. Lapis with a clear quartz point. I have yet to be wrong with the answers in the past. I want to practice new things and expand my practice. Create graphs and charts for navigation to do things like help hunt deer, things like that. Thankyou for your insight.
