- In this straight pour over the cup bottom beautiful Phoenix with a flower rose from the ashes... I love its symbolism, because as a powerful spiritual totem, the phoenix is the ultimate symbol of strength and renewal. Just wander, what this means for me :D
TECHNIQUE: Straight pour, Cup bottom pour
MATERIAL I USED:
- 12 inch round canvas
- Acrylic paints mixed with pouring medium
- Flower shaped desert cup
- Wooden skewer
- Palete knife
- Torch
COLOURS I USED:
- Lukas indigo
- Amsterdam ultramarine
- Amsterdam permanent blue violet
- Windsor & Newton opera rose
- Vallejo magenta
- Amsterdam vermilion
- Arties colours cadmium yellow lemon hue
All my paints are mixed with Boesner Guardi acrylic binder and acrylic emulsion.

I will attempt to try this technique on my next pour. I have to do one for my son's bedroom. His colors are dark blue & Brown's. So if you don't mind me asking what colors would you use ? I sure would love to hear what you think.

Fiona,. You are my role model 😊 I've been trying to figure out pouring paint and abstract painting for years. I was never able to get the cells to form. I've been watching you channel for a couple weeks now and you gave me the inspiration to try again. You also gave me so many new ideas. I finally got cells to form on my very first time trying a pour cup painting. I was actually watching you do a reverse pour cup at the time. I was so excited I ran inside to my husband and said, " I did it, I finally did it, I got cells'' oh course I was way more excited then he was lol.. I just wanted to think you. Painting helped me get out of a very dark point in my life. I am having trouble finding the dessert cups tho. I found some but if comes with 100 or so for 25-30$ and I'm on a small small budget.. any advice you could give me?

Before you spun it it looks like a pansy flower!❤ now you have all the feathers but it is completely different. This looks like an exotic orchid.

It's so beautiful! Made me think of the golden snitch (or whatever it is) from Harry Potter... I was stunned when the spin stopped at what it looked like and so glad you left it at that! Totally gorgeous!
Please take a half inch of ginger piece boil in one cup of water. When 3/4 of water remains then shut the flame 🔥 and drink 2 or 3 tablespoons of water three times a day like tea. It will make your throat better. Slovanja I like your paintings. ❣️

I really like this one. It's beautiful in it's simplicity. I like everything about it. The colours are spectacular and intense imo, but comes off airy and light.

Hi Fiona: The colors flow under the cup to make the center flower, is that right? The cup must not be tight to the canvas otherwise the paint would not flow under it? You are pouring on the outsidi of the cup? Thank you for your help, I am going to try it again.

Did you do one right around this same time using the same colors, but you used all six channels of the cup so there were six orange "feathers"? I swear there was one but I can't find it. Thanks.
