Thanks! Are you trying to address the white or the collar area in grey? The issue you're going to have is matching it to the factory (BY and ST-P have slightly different textures and shades of grey).
@@VintageKicksGallery I saw your video and you said to avoid touching the collar, so i'm just trying to touch up the base of the shoe. Idk if I should touch the grey swoosh though..
@@joshuadenton249 Def don't attempt anything outside cleaning on the swoosh. The material they used on the natural/neutral grey cw doesn't lend well to either paint or dye. If yours is in need of a good cleaning, I recommend spray oxiclean, let it soak for 10-15min then brush with sneaker cleaner/water and remove. That should vastly improve it. As for the base, here's what I'd do- take Angelus Flat White + Angelus Cream and start with a majority white base. I would say maybe 80% white 20% cream, brush it on a small area, make sure you wait for it to dry, and then adjust the ratio as needed to get a perfect match.
@@VintageKicksGallery Id love an 85 Chicago. 2nd and 3rd choices would be Banned and UNC, in that order. Prices are crazy state side and Im sure they're inflated overseas as well but hoping for some price break. I'd love to restore a pair. I watched your 85 restoration and it came out amazing. Im looking to mimic it. Im a size 10/10.5. I think a 10.5 would be better because in your video you said the 85s were a little smaller than the recent model Jordan 1s. Is that the case?
If you’re gonna “restore” then it’s already not factory so why not just do a clean full restoration on ALL parts of the shoe…. It’s literally as simple as cutting stitches and using boiling water to remove the uppers then refoam , refabricate and restitch/ glue the shoe back together. OG shmo gee & 85 shmeighty five a shoe is a shoe and only made of rubbers, leathers (real or synth), foam, glue and thread. If you’re gonna put them on a shelf to beat off at the fact it’s “vintage” then that’s cute but if you’re gonna wear them like shoes are created for then It makes sense to me to do a proper resto. IJS
Yeah...great "restore", I wouldn't use any shoe thats been worn by another person anyways , it's gross, all the germs are still there, and the smell, eehw!!
I love that sleek, slim, and straight back look on the 85s. I wish they would remake the jordan 1s like this.
that swoosh job was crazy... you're nuts dude. much love
Man, they look a lot better out of the light box. Really great job on these.
Slept on channel man, great vid

Luster Cream = the Bondo or Modge Podge of sneaker restoration!
Let’s goooooo I was excited to see this one
This was a long one for sure. Next one to drop will be the Dunk resto.
Great content. Where do you buy from in Japan? I'm looking for a source to purchase vintage kicks.
Generally my go to's are mercari.jp and Yahoo! Auctions Japan. What are you looking for?

How do you find all these vintage sneakers? I'm looking to buy some and restore them but I'm not willing to pay a stupid amount :/
You cant now, the hype has made prices go up crazy
Use auction markets and ebay. Usually your best bet for vintage Nike shoes is going to Japanese markets online, and using a proxy service.
I PAINT MY STITCHING COME FIGHT ME BRO ! hahaha
What should I do if the swoosh starts to crack?
Do you sell some of your air Jordan 1
Was that the fake pair? Or did you get another one? Sorry I just started watching your channel two vids in.
nice channel watched like every video
Are you using your own leather conditioner?
Yep- I'm very pleased with the final formula. Hopefully this COVID madness ends soon and we can release it.
@@VintageKicksGallery fingers crossed!
These are real?
I saw them 10 yellow dots and kept it moving Lmfaooooo
This dude is THE TRUTH!! Move over VIC....
