Second, once you are sure he is trapped charge up your spin attack and release, then quickly jump forward right into Zurg and pull back quickly on the ledge so you don't fall to your death. Repeat this process over and spin into him again until he is finally defeated, Tips and Warnings: Zurg will fire yellow balls and homing green balls which you have to deflect with your spin attack. Also, as Zurgs health gets low, he will fire a green ball which will interrupt you and hurt Buzz. But once you beat him, you can move on to level 13, 14, and 15 which is an easy cakewalk.
The wind-up robot 🤖 is also (sort of) one of those bosses. When he’s wound up and runs after you, your lasers bounce off him but I think you can spin attack against him whilst he’s running. It’s only when he stops running that a laser works. Even when he’s defeated, you can still shoot the body and the lasers still bounce.
Yes but Zurg, Stinky Pete and Blacksmith are the only ones you can defeat with your spin attacks but not with your laser attacks. The jackhammer as you said is only valuable to the Disk Launcher, not your spin attacks as well as your laser attacks so he doesn’t count.
Yes but he’s immune to laser attacks when he’s chasing you but not when he’s unwound. That’s different from how Zurg, Stinky Pete and the Blacksmith who are always immune to the laser attack no matter what happens.

I never knew it was a glitch with the pc port! As a 10 year old it was nearly impossible to beat him using the charged spin attack!

Turn your screen to 24 Hz rate and you can catch Zurg :)
It's interesting how you die if you fall off the elevator in this level but if you fall off the elevator two levels beforehand, no harm done.

Just limit frames to 30 on PC. You can do it by f.e dxtory(trial is enough)

This IS the original version of the game, the ps1 version came out first all the other versions are ports even the pc version.

Although Zurg's voice sounds similar to Andrew Stanton's pitch-shifted voice from the movie, I'm guessing that this is a different voice actor.
