This is without a doubt the most detailed and well done video on the Großglockner Ultra Trail. Extremely useful for those who want to have a real idea of what to expect by participating in the race! Good job!
Thanks hybris, be aware: 2021 the running direction was reverted. So it will be other way round. I will do a new film next year with the new course direction and all details you need to know to prepare.
@@RunningRaceReview Thank you for the clarification! Simply all the uphills will become downhills and vice versa. In any case, the videos you made really help a lot to understand the type of trails. However I too will participate in the next race in July, so we will probably meet: maybe I will be the only Italian coming from Vienna :) my name is Pio. Can I contact you in the coming months to get some advice?
@@RunningRaceReview Hi Gabriel, as promised I take advantage of your experience to ask you for advice: do you think it is necessary to have Schuhspikes in the backpack for sections with snow/ice?
@@hybris2 Yes it does. The snowfields were not that long, that I took the time for mounting/dismounting, but if you take that time it will definitely make you faster in that section.
Thank you, amblincork! This is just because the course is so beautiful ;-) But if you are new to this, try Eiger Ultra Trail first. GGUT is very technical. Nearly all the way. EUT is easier in that respect and not less beautiful. ruclips.net/video/e8ig-yxlg6s/видео.html
