boys weekend on the the boat was great, thanks for inviting us for an epic weekend. Nice to see it sail a bit more then we did ;) AND, the drone shots looks better and better. super nice!
Hey Hey, from end of July till end Half way September 2024, I enjoyed the Gothenburg Archipelago (until Fjällbacka) with my Trawler. The reason of my visit was because of all the pictures of sailors mooring along side rocks I saw on Insta. This Nordic mooring was something I wanted to check out myself, but I found out that the bow/hull of my 50ft trawler was too high from the water and since I did the trip all solo, it was difficult to manoeuvre the Lady and keep an eye on what was in front of the boat. But other than that, I only can say: what a beautiful scenery.
Wow, that's quite a challenge with a 50 ft single handed! We're so lucky to have the kids on board, because we're not that enthusiastic about doing the jumps onto land. Welcome, and welcome back!
@@sv_eden that is great. I will keep checking your channel continuously. Love that area of the world. Hopefully I can sail it soon. You guys are welcome to stop in Tenerife. Stay safe 👍
I greatly enjoyed your video. My vessel was built on the island of Orust in 2001 and is currently in Southern California. I think about returning it to Europe and selling it somewhere there. I have fond memories of visiting Sweden and still have a large Swedish flag I keep on board. Enjoyed seeing how you tie up to the rocks.
Thank you for those kind words, as newcomers on RUclips it's always very fun to get comments like this! We have lots of relations to Orust, and will visit Hallberg Rassy in the coming episodes also. It's amazing how this little island came to be such a yacht producer. Would your boat not be more valuable over at your side, where it's unique and hard to come across? Hope to share more for you in the coming months!
Nice video ... I read that you are hoping to cross the Atlantic. What are your plans? We are currently in Las Palmas on Grand Canaria and will cross in early November.
Thanks! We are really overwhelmed by the interest, never expected our videos to be that popular. We seem to be one year behind you, as we're crossing in Nov 2025. So we've moved into project season now for the last time before setting sail!
