The same dude I said that could be a boxer is actually a boxer now. And he was current champ at this time. Thanks for letting me share 😎

@@Johnson11130 Michael Jai White has sought out people like Billy Blanks, Bill "Superfoot" Wallace, former pro fighters, to spar with and develop his skill! Plus this clip does not give MJW full statement and his explanation of what he was saying! White said "he is used to being hit by people his size and bigger!" He's speaking of physics, Michael is 235 and also said how "5 pounds makes a difference," part of force is weight! It is why boxing and wrestling has those weight limits and classifications! Also, strength is not necessarily weight related, there are smaller people and fighters with enormous strength! But a larger trained, experienced fighter in an actual controlled match should be able to beat a smaller fighter because the more weight you have the greater the force you are punching with! MJW was talking about the physics of him being 235 pounds and his body being conditioned to being hit by someone over 200 pounds, fighting someone only about 135 pounds like Bruce Lee! Most people dont fight nor are conditioned at that level so its only their opinion! The little guy is talking about street fighting which is different than an actual sanctioned match, where you are limited to what you can do! Most smart trained fighters dont street fight! Because they can still be arrested and go to jail for fighting someone that attacked or started a fight with them due to their training and most laws say they should be able to avoid hurting or killing someone due to the advantage they have.
The reason why so many people take issue with that statement because saying that envelop said that’s the only thing that matters. Now many of us know that’s not the only thing that matters. But that’s like people who see someone who’s 7 feet tall and automatically assume hey they’d be a great athlete. No because they don’t know how to play basketball and their athletic skills are piss poor trash. It’s the same difference don’t go off of what you can see because you can easily lose sight of what’s most important. Could Michael J White beat Mike Tyson? No way in hell. Could Bruce lee beat Mike Tyson? Definitely. But it wouldn’t be easy. Many people fail to realize Bruce Lee dropped people who were literally football player sizes. These are athletes they train every single day. They couldn’t touch him they couldn’t hurt him they could do nothing to him. He manipulated life-size athletes like that on a daily humiliating them. Some of these athletes became his students because they saw how good he was. Men known for their strength and their speed whatever skill they had in the form of combat or athletic ability humble themselves in the presence of Bruce Lee because none of them could defeat him. And these men are the size you are the size Michael Jai White is taller stronger just as athletic if not close to or near that level. And none of them could beat him. Jim Kelly I’m for sure spar with Bruce Lee but before he sparred with Bruce Lee he saw Bruce Lee did to people around his skill level. And they couldn’t touch him. The most dangerous man on the planet. But by the constant sparking debate because the American mindset is oh sports sports if you don’t have these trophies yes boxing is a definitely a dangerous sport. But it has rules. Is it more dangerous to fight in a ring or is it more dangerous to fight somebody anywhere in this world outside? Bruce Lee fought people without rules that’s more dangerous. Because anything goes in the street fight. If for whatever reason all of his friends never talk about who he fight. So that must mean when he was alive he told him hey you don’t tell anybody about who I fight or you don’t reveal what happened in the matches. We know Bruce Lee was successful in undefeated because while he was alive not one master came out and said they beat them. They have that much respect for him even if they did like him because they knew his skill level was unmatched.

Just for the sake of argument, let's say you have 100 strength and 0.9 efficiency due to your splended technique and experience. And say, I have 150 strength and 0.3 efficiency, since I'm a meathead. I would outbench you any day, but you'd still beat me in a figth without breaking too much sweat. But if I have 400 strength, like Hafthor Bjornson or Eddie Hall, I just fold you in a pretzel. A coach once told me, that no matter how good you are, if the other guy has 130% your body weight, puncher's luck is your only hope. And I felt it myself. When I was around 91kg (did kickboxing) we had a friendly sparring/demo with a guy at 73kg (bjj practitioner). I admit, he's much more technical and overall a better athlete, but it doesn't change the fact I could resist his armbar with a simple curl. I was a bit of an ass there, true, and he punished me transitioning to another lock, also true. But could he get to that position, if I wasn't compliant up until that point? I don't know. And before you call BS, no, I couldn't break free that way, but I didn't feel any discomfort before he repositioned either. Power-wise, we had a tie there. So 130% your own weight and below is your general "wiggle room". The bigger you are, the wider it gets in absolute units. And the better you are, the wider it gets in relative units. I mean, big guys can also train, hence the super heavyweight division. Seriously, try sparring a couple weight classes up or down. It's really sobering.

I'd mostly agree but every strength comes with weaknesses. Mike Tyson for example found a lot of success with his style because a lot of those heavyweight guys he'd fight would be 6 feet or taller but because Tyson was 5 10 and generally shorter than then he was able to employ certain tactics against them that they wouldn't be able to use against him so height can be double edged. Same with weight for a few reasons but most commonly because most "big guys" are actually just overweight and are mostly fat rather than muscle. Those bigger guys, whether it's muscle or fat, also tend to get tired faster and also struggle to move as fast. Still though you won't have a guy at 120 beating guys who are over 200 generally since the 120 guy will struggle to hurt the bigger guy even if he hits him

And, given the dude wields the strength to match his weight (think strongmen, powerlifters, etc), at some point size outweighs skill. It takes only one sparring session with someone significantly lighter or heavier to get the memo.
Not really then is important who gonna take the fight to his advantage.... For tall one it will be distance for smaller one it will be going close enough to his opponent.... Tyson is good example, if you take all "the game" on your side, even for tall boxers is difficult to fight then...

First rule of fighting "There's Always Someone Better Than yourself Just Around The Corner No Matter How Tuff You Think You Are"
Fact
Size absolutely matters. We have weight classes for a reason. Can a small guy knock a big guy out? Sure. But size definitely matters.
Size matters when both are world class trained. If not it doesn't matter in real life circumstances
