Hiii~~ How is your fall going?? If you saw me upload this video and then it disappeared (oops a clip was missing) its all back now! Thanks for being here ilyy
Just so you know, you're one of the most down to earth youtube creators I have watched to date, and I have watched many. Please continue sharing your art and your life with us, and always be you. You're awesome and your art is amazing. ^^
Discovered your channel recently and have really been enjoying watching it while I work on crochet projects! Loving your videos, please keep it up! :))))
Your art is so, so beautiful!!! ❤ Thank you so, so much for this video. I have spent thousands of dollars on an organizing consultant who had NO experience with clients who were artists. Finally, I started looking at ikea furniture and RUclips videos. Your video has changed my entire approach. How do you explain to a non-artist the needs we have for clean printer/computer areas, separate areas for paints, archival storage, books, drawing supplies, etc.? Thank you thank you thank you!!!!
It was a treat to meet you at open streets! Im loving having your fish magnet on our fridge. Also loving fall in Salt Lake. Cool temps and changing leaves have been delightful.
I recently found out I will be laid off in a couple of months and decided to use the time to role play being a full-time artist. I find your videos to be so helpful and inspiring!
i love that couch!!🥰🥰that group show sounds like a great idea for an exhibit 🙂 being disabled/chronically ill/sick is so expensive, even with help its not funny 😑
Love your vlogs Kristen. The poster was awesome and that keg was killer! Also kudos on the market. The camping looked way too chilly but I do love a good torque and mitts lol! 💕
Alicia in Dubai from Chattanooga TN …lol… love your videos!! Thank you so much for sharing your day to day. It’s so helpful and interesting to see all the different skills you use to bring this all together. I don’t even know where to start. But I’m determined to figure it out!
Just found you - love your channel! Your barrel painting music was everything…brought me back to watching tv when I was a child, sitting on the floor entranced. Love!
heyoo I was feeling pretty meh, so I'm glad I stumbled on this video because your art and the style of this vlog really elevated how I am feeling. hope you're having a lovely day
I get immunoglobulin transfusions too. I used to get them in hospital and had to stay there for 8 hours. Now I can't be transported anymore because my bones are too brittle and break. I learned how to give them to myself. They still take 8 to 10 hours and I feel pummelled during and a few days after but at least I don't have to go to hospital anymore. I have a cortison syringe here incase I go into shock during the transfusion.
@@littletinyegg Yes,but I am so glad I get them now. I had putrid infections and was on antibiotics non stop before I got diagnosed with my inefficiency in creating antibodies. Now I usually only have one rather than three at once and am in hospital a lot less. I also have a ton of other debilitating diseases. My body is too busy destroying itself to care for any invaders. 😆 I take the max. dose of opiates that my heart can handle and am still in constant pain.
Just came across this video randomly, and I couldn’t be happier! Your work and style are fantastic! I subscribed, followed, etc. to all your stuff! Thanks for sharing!
I love how much you’re evolving as an artist or at least on RUclips. Your confidence is skyrocketing. Did you say what the keg was for? Maybe I didn’t hear you
can you do a video on your process for painting with acrylics? if you use mediums, why you're spraying, how you keep mixed colours etc. i'm having a love/hate relationship with acrylics and think it's just i've yet to develop a system that works!
just recently found your channel and i've been binge-watching your videos! love your art and the way you edit, and your videos inspire me to make art of my own :)
Such a fun video! It gave me a sense of the stuff going in your life and your art practice, and it felt like hanging out with an old friend. You didn't show which way you settled on to say you were there to pick up your keg. Did you go with "Hey yo, I'm Kris..."? As someone who messes around with both music and art, I often come to the art world to escape the much higher noise level in the music world. In college, this was represented by the different wings of the arts building where students in both departments did their thing, the noisy practice room hallways where I basically lived, vs the much quieter art studios where I would watch people painting and play hooky from practicing. ...so it's interesting that you're studio neighbors with a noisy musician. Speaking of music, nice jazz clip from @18:30 to @21:03. Your friend seemed pretty cool, and your guest couch reminded me a little of the "Merv Griffin Show" episode of "Seinfeld".
I'm curious how you're feeling about the new studio...are you feeling more creative? Is your home-life more relaxing because you aren't surrounded by 'work'? The keg turned out great.
oh definitely! I am more willing to make a mess creatively which is so fun. Also I'm loving the work life-balance of changing clothes and turning off at the end of the day! I want to talk about this more in a video though so thank you for the q!
Love your vid/artwork! (Ps. Wife of a UPS worker, I can guarantee that they throw all of the boxes…not intentionally but bc they are made to meet a certain quota and it’s impossible unless your absolutely chucking boxes like a psycho 🥲)
I know you said you won’t do this again, but, if you Do decide to try again, you can get FREE sheets of cardboard at Costco, Sam’s, and BJ’s warehouse clubs. You don’t even have to be a member. Just tell them at the door that you are picking up cardboard for a project. They use great sheets between the layers of tp and paper towels. You’ll find them stacked beside the pallets. I get it to use for sculptures with my middle school students.
Is that paint I see on the couch?? As someone who loves vintage furniture (I own a 19th century lounge set) & paints, in feel this in my bones! Why do I love it though?! A none food colour is perfect to spill if your going to spill at all because at least it looks cool & doesn't just look like your a slob pft. I paint with primarily warm colours, so boo hoo to me I guess 🌚
Hello, I just watched few of your videos for the first time. I use to live in SLC, so is fun to watch an artist on RUclips from SL. I would like to know what is the program you use to edit your drawings?, Did you take a class, or just purchase a program and learned yourself. I saw you using it on one of your videos. I would like to learn how to do the same with my drawings. Can you share the info, please. 😊
yes! haha this was a very fish-heavy vlog but trout are one of my favorite animals, to me they represent all things slippery, goofy, hidden, return to source, the mountains, rivers, etc! I want to talk about this more in a video tho so thanks for the q!
Hello! I'm new to your channel. Can you tell me if your fish earrings are for sale and how to purchase them? I looked at your blog page, but did not locate them there. I work with an Ichthyologist and would like to gift his wife and twin girls with a pair.
Hi! They are handmade in super small batches of about ten at a time so when they’re sold out they’re done for a while. I might make more as the holidays approach, best way to find out is to sign up for my newsletter or follow on Instagram!
The 'I'm here to pick up my barrel' was so funny/ relatable as an anxious girly.
hahah yep i gotta practice otherwise who knows what I might say!
ditto

I like the juxtaposition of the wall painting, the keg and the fabulous new couch

That song played next door is a mandarin song sung by a famous singer from Hong Kong. I grew up listening to it.😂
i love it!
LOVE your 'art and illustration' market poster! amazing colors
Thank you so much 😀
The keg and Juvie's "Slow Motion" is a whole vibe.
🤎
💃🏼💃🏼💃🏼
Regarding the song your neighbor was playing/listening to @5:24, if I’m not mistaken, i think it was a popular Chinese pop song from the 80s
I actually really like it!!
that couch is EVERYTHINGGGGGG
I love iiiiiit!
i love that couch!!🥰🥰that group show sounds like a great idea for an exhibit 🙂 being disabled/chronically ill/sick is so expensive, even with help its not funny

Just found you and I love your art style! Really glad I got my IVIG infusions at home I’m not sure I would be awake enough to drive myself home after!
Sometimes it’s pretty borderline dangerous haha I usually walk to the cafeteria and grab a coffee before I get behind the wheel again
