How do you dream up these up cycles & know how to do them? I couldn’t ever see these ideas but yours already brilliant. What is the black iron on tape you use?
The song: “Let’s Just Keep it Simple” Me: Already lost 7 seconds in coz I don’t know what “dade tape” is ... (I know now it’s something you iron on coz you did it.) And you did it really fast. And you didn’t burn your fingers with the iron. Not even once. Conclusion: if this is what is considered “simple” then I’m definitely riding the short bus... but it’s incredibly fascinating to watch you create beauty so effortlessly 💜
It's a type of hem tape that has a fusible backing. I guess comparable to stichwitch. You may be able to achieve the same look with bias tape, but you'll have to sew that part instead.
TC Bowen verrry cool and thank you 😊 I seriously made some curtains with that fusing tape where I just folded the fabric as if to hem it then fuse taped all four long panels instead of actually sewing it ... to me it is a gift from above ( minus all the finger burns from the iron!).
