For me, the ones I miss the most are the last mentioned, SS501, thanks K-Ville!! 💚 many people really forget about them, and don't know that all of them have continued to work, and making collaborations, even being on hiatus like group, they have made songs like Why are u ok? (Kyu ft Saeng), Same old story (HyunSaeng), Saeng's Love ya 2021 dance cover, and best of all, they always record behind the scenes and continuously vlog their performances or things from their daily lives, like Hyung Jun, and Kyu. They have even invited each other to record and do dynamics. In Hyun Joong's Christmas FM ChristJoong he had Saeng as a guest and they sang Love like this, just as Saeng and Kyu were in MMTG for the Chuseok special and sang BIS and U R Man, recorded behind the scenes, did an interview, really they're still great friends, with that brotherhood that characterizes them. It's a shame so many people miss them but have no idea what each of them has been up to lately.
I wish Block B and BAP came back under a label that would actually support them. They could have gone a lot further if they were under JYP, HYBE, or YG.
LOL Gfriend got disbanded when they r listed under Hybe. girls didn't want to disband and they were forced to do so. every agency could not be trusted. stand for artist not agency.
U-Kiss are in my heart forever ❤️ They we’re the ones who opened the world of k-pop for me and that’s unforgettable!! They’ve worked so hard and I can’t forget how beautiful their music is! Absolute best, in my opinion! 2ne1, NU’EST, and B.A.P also will forever remain remembered and endlessly loved for all the efforts they put in their art! Many of their songs will stick in my playlist for many many years!

SS501 is still on hiatus as a group, but still they all continue to work on their solo careers, and make vlogs on a daily basis; they have done collaborations and presentations together, not all 5 at the same time due to their different commitments, but they still have that special touch, like Why are u ok? Three groups that I feel should have been on this list were Purfles, Kiss&Cry, and D.Holic. Those three groups were so good and it is a shame they didnt get more attention and love

But I remember Jung-min & Young-saeng in a talk show hinting they are not keen of a reunion. A comeback is a risky and huge investment, uncertain even for active groups, let alone long hiatus ones. I guess they'll just have to live in my memories....
SS501 still have very good chemistry together, otherwise they wouldn't do collaborations or joint performances like the recent ones, Same old story (HyunSaeng), Why are u ok? (Kyu ft Saeng), Love like this, and Snow Prince on ChristJoong FM, the MMTG special for Chuseok where Saeng and Kyu sang U R Man and BIS, who also shot behind the scenes. The problem isn't that they care about money, they also miss being together, it shows in the vlogs and behind the scenes, the rights to the brand of SS501 and SS301 remain with DSP, that's why for the trio's comeback in 2015-2017 they had to use Double S 301 with the CiEnt agency, SS501 is a very valuable brand, Triple S became the second largest fandom in all of Korea, Asia and internationally, only surpassed by Cassiopeia, and soon it had more official members in Korea than Cassiopeia already had, E.L.F. grew little by little much later, and together CaTrEl and DongSu501 were like the three main boybands of all national and international events, CatrEl being the founding fathers and son of the current fandoms. SM was lucky enough to keep TVXQ (DBSK) and SuJu despite the disbands, but DSP didn't do their part and it was in many agencies' interest that SS501 no longer hog awards, events, etc., when they wanted their new groups to get them. Apart from the legal issue of the brand, the industry didn't make it easy for them to make an OT5 comeback, and it isn't cheap for an agency to have those 5 together, that and that each one has events, tours, shows, and even series or movie projects that they have done is what makes it difficult to reunite them, but even to this day they continue to sing songs of the group, in their repertoires, or invite each other to record vlogs, and meet each other for dinner when they can (although they don't make it public so as not to generate stir, but each one confirmed it when Triple S ask them on lives). In 2020 SM told the media that he wanted to reunite them, a manager had talks with them, and they all agreed to want to do something special, Saeng also said it in an interview for a magazine, and the news was trending in Korea, the same than the 2021 presentation on MMTG, but then they published that just because of the individual projects of each one, the times were not given, they already had something recorded, and being perfectionists, especially Hyun Joong didn't want to return offering something half to the fans but something of high quality. So they didn't say each other's projects, and many people complained that they weren't all that busy, but in reality Hyun Joong was in the middle of a tour, already planning another, shooting a movie, Jung Min was still shooting a movie and several shows specials, plus a mini album, Saeng also had meetings and an album, Hyung Jun a web series, Japanese album; apart from each one establishing their own agency and brand of their own, Kyu also had an album, some independent mini movies and a movie to shoot, and most of those projects were surprises so they didn't say it until they were already done; for the same reason it was difficult for everyone to be in the preparations for the project that the SM wanted for them, but they were working on something and having talks.
The perfect group still exists... it's GFriend... They all sing, dance, are funny, perfect choreographic synchronization, songs with a powerful message, and they came to form a real family, but their company failed in their worldwide promotion. Why destroy something that may never be repeated in our beloved kpop? I hope they register their name, get together and surprise us again with songs like Rough, which moved us in Queendom 2. Hopefully one day all Kpop lovers can say, on behalf of all unjustly dissolved groups, "We are GFriend, we are legion".
GFriend will always remain my ultimate GG. No one else can take their place. I had spent days crying after what SouMu and Hybe did with them. SouMu trying to trademark GFRIEND as G-Friend annoys me more. I am now waiting for the girls to legally register GFRIEND under their name. I know that will take time as a lot needs to be considered in that case. Sowon has always told us to have faith in them and to give them the time. We Buddys, Na.Vs, Luvus are always there waiting for them.
Oh, they will be back. Until then, I'm supporting Sowon on her Kdrama, Yerin on her solo activities, Yuju on her new single, and Viviz on their recent comeback.
After School still is kept in the official page of Pledis along the subunit Orange Caramel, as two of their assets. It's a symbol I guess, but actually due to how the group was organized still it would be possible to reactivate. As for KARA they were disbanded officially by DSP, but that company was taken over by RBW, so their aniversary comeback was possible. Half of the members of GFRIEND migrated into VIVIZ.

Super Junior has endured for the last 17 years together as a group . Other groups have disbanded , left the industry , gone solo to pursue their own dreams . It's amazing to me that they're still together . It takes more than friendship to stand the test of time . #SuperJunior
It's sad how many amazing groups on here. The ones that I'm the most upset about are 4Minute, Toppdogg, and Speed. 4Minute was doing so well, but they had to be in a shitty company. 😒 Speed performances were so entertaining, and I know they would have come out with even greater performances if they hadn't disbanded. And ToppDogg is technically still a group under a different name, but it's not the same, and they're not even active. I loved their songs so much. 💔
Ah fuck, I missed G-reyish disbanding. One of the highest quality nugu groups. If fans gave a damn about the music instead of how big the label was, they wouldn't have remained nugus for long.

@@Sonamyfan92 Yeah YeEun (Ha:tfelt) has A LOT of releases. They kind of go under-noticed, unfortunately. YeEun already debuted as a solo artist back in 2014. Her debut single "Ain't Nobody" is still one of my favorite songs today. In her more recent releases, I really like "I Wander" and "Summertime". Yubin debuted solo after Wonder Girls disbanded, my favorite songs from her are "Lady" and "Thank You Soooo Much"

The problem isn't that they care about money, they also miss being together, it shows in the vlogs and behind the scenes, the rights to the brand of SS501 and SS301 remain with DSP, that's why for the trio's comeback in 2015-2017 they had to use Double S 301 with the CiEnt agency, SS501 is a very valuable brand, Triple S became the second largest fandom in all of Korea, Asia and internationally, only surpassed by Cassiopeia, and soon it had more official members in Korea than Cassiopeia already had, E.L.F. grew little by little much later, and together CaTrEl and DongSu501 were like the three main boybands of all national and international events, CatrEl being the founding fathers and son of the current fandoms. SM was lucky enough to keep TVXQ (DBSK) and SuJu despite the disbands, but DSP didn't do their part and it was in many agencies' interest that SS501 no longer hog awards, events, etc., when they wanted their new groups to get them. Apart from the legal issue of the brand, the industry didn't make it easy for them to make an OT5 comeback, and it isn't cheap for an agency to have those 5 together, that and that each one has events, tours, shows, and even series or movie projects that they have done is what makes it difficult to reunite them, but even to this day they continue to sing songs of the group, in their repertoires, or invite each other to record vlogs, and meet each other for dinner when they can (although they don't make it public so as not to generate stir, but each one confirmed it when Triple S ask them on lives). In 2020 SM told the media that he wanted to reunite them, a manager had talks with them, and they all agreed to want to do something special, Saeng also said it in an interview for a magazine, and the news was trending in Korea, the same than the 2021 presentation on MMTG, but then they published that just because of the individual projects of each one, the times were not given, they already had something recorded, and being perfectionists, especially Hyun Joong didn't want to return offering something half to the fans but something of high quality. So they didn't say each other's projects, and many people complained that they weren't all that busy, but in reality Hyun Joong was in the middle of a tour, already planning another, shooting a movie, Jung Min was still shooting a movie and several shows specials, plus a mini album, Saeng also had meetings and an album, Hyung Jun a web series, Japanese album; apart from each one establishing their own agency and brand of their own, Kyu also had an album, some independent mini movies and a movie to shoot, and most of those projects were surprises so they didn't say it until they were already done; for the same reason it was difficult for everyone to be in the preparations for the project that the SM wanted for them, but they were working on something and having talks.

The perfect group still exists... it's GFriend... They all sing, dance, are funny, perfect choreographic synchronization, songs with a powerful message, and they came to form a real family, but their company failed in their worldwide promotion.
Why destroy something that may never be repeated in our beloved kpop?
I hope they register their name, get together and surprise us again with songs like Rough, which moved us in Queendom 2.
Hopefully one day all Kpop lovers can say, on behalf of all unjustly dissolved groups, "We are GFriend, we are legion".
GFriend will always remain my ultimate GG. No one else can take their place. I had spent days crying after what SouMu and Hybe did with them. SouMu trying to trademark GFRIEND as G-Friend annoys me more. I am now waiting for the girls to legally register GFRIEND under their name. I know that will take time as a lot needs to be considered in that case.
Sowon has always told us to have faith in them and to give them the time. We Buddys, Na.Vs, Luvus are always there waiting for them.
Oh, they will be back. Until then, I'm supporting Sowon on her Kdrama, Yerin on her solo activities, Yuju on her new single, and Viviz on their recent comeback.

After School still is kept in the official page of Pledis along the subunit Orange Caramel, as two of their assets. It's a symbol I guess, but actually due to how the group was organized still it would be possible to reactivate.
As for KARA they were disbanded officially by DSP, but that company was taken over by RBW, so their aniversary comeback was possible.
Half of the members of GFRIEND migrated into VIVIZ.

It's sad how many amazing groups on here. The ones that I'm the most upset about are 4Minute, Toppdogg, and Speed. 4Minute was doing so well, but they had to be in a shitty company. 😒 Speed performances were so entertaining, and I know they would have come out with even greater performances if they hadn't disbanded. And ToppDogg is technically still a group under a different name, but it's not the same, and they're not even active. I loved their songs so much. 💔

Listening to all of these remind me of the good ole days when I first got into kpop and a lot of great groups were in their prime.
Some of my faves were; Block B (stanned hard), B.A.P (stanned hard), HISTORY, f(x), 2NE1, NU'EST (stanned), C-Clown, UNIQ (honestly, wth happened to them I feel like they barely got to debut properly), KARA, JBJ (also wth happened to them?), Infinite (stanned) , HOTSHOT (OMG YES. No one remembers them D:< ), TOPPDOGG (Stanned and I literally loved these guys so much), Madtown, Speed (ahh so good), miss A, MBLAQ (stanned hard), SS501 (still love me some Kim Hyunjoong)

@@Sonamyfan92 Yeah YeEun (Ha:tfelt) has A LOT of releases. They kind of go under-noticed, unfortunately. YeEun already debuted as a solo artist back in 2014. Her debut single "Ain't Nobody" is still one of my favorite songs today. In her more recent releases, I really like "I Wander" and "Summertime". Yubin debuted solo after Wonder Girls disbanded, my favorite songs from her are "Lady" and "Thank You Soooo Much"
