I lost residence because I lived in another country. It was in 1991 and has not been easy getting jobs. Driver;s license expired, no SScard, army veteran 1980-1983 DD214 on hand. Who helped them.? I need their help, VA in Texas does not help.
It doesn't matter what your status is if you serve in the armed forces for the US you should be allowed to stay in the country not be deported that's just uncalled for

Thank you for your support. Hopefully the practice of deporting veterans comes to an end. Also the reintegration to civilian life must improve.

I can see if they committed a felony like kill somebody but come on any other offense there's no reason for that to deport them,
