- On Monday, Nene Leakes reunited with several of her ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ co-stars at a celebration of life for her late husband, Gregg Leakes. Among those spotted at the event were past and present ‘RHOA’ stars including Lisa Wu, Phaedra Parks, Marlo Hampton, Porsha Williams and Eva Marcille. The event also included a number of powerful musical performances from Keke Wyatt and famed gospel performers Yolanda Adams, Kim Burrell and Le'Andria Johnson.

Thank you for this comment, it's been a lot of death in my family. I have been battling with myself over 2 more deaths that I feel my mental health is in question. I pray for all my family members. But I feel like I need to focus on self care at this moment 🙏🏿❤again thank you

I agree with Nene. Being a caretaker to someone who’s sick with cancer, it’s not easy. It’s frustrating to the caretaker because you WANT to help that person, but there’s absolutely nothing you can do but watch them deteriorate. Praying for her strength during this time. ❤️

I was so surprised to see Kenya attended. I know the situation with Gregg is WAY bigger than petty reality TV beef, but just seeing all those girls put their differences aside made me feel good. Also is a testament to how great a man Gregg was.
I think beyond the show, the ladies are being cordial with one another (maybe except Kandi and Phaedra).

Gregg was such a gentleman! He never treated any of the ladies disrespectfully no matter what they were going through with Nene. That man loved Nene to no end, I pray she can find the strength to go on! 💜
Being a caretaker is extremely hard because you not only are taking care of a loved one you're watching them decline daily and look to you for support. Many times they're not pleasant to be around yet you endure. Great job NeNe for standing by Gregg, unless you've been a caretaker don't judge. I was, it's hard and very painful to see someone you love die slowly. RIP Gregg, you will be missed.
I was with my dad until he went into the nursing home and passed away. Now I take care of my mama.
I feel Nene's pain..... I am being a caretaker to my boyfriend of 12 years. He is struggling with anxiety and dealing with a mental disorder. Sometimes it's really hard, I try everyday to be there but I feel like I get pushed further and further away. Its frustrating and it hurts at time.

@@lalareal180 - It doesn't matter if she hired caretakers or not, she still endured. One cannot just stop their everyday living to attend a ill person if they have businesses to care for too. Stop being so negative until you walk in those shoes. NeNe has issues like everyone else but, she handled it the best way she could. Many men do not handle terminal illnesses well and it's really hard to deal with some of the things they say and do. If she miss treated Gregg, he probably had it coming. Until you deal with a situation stop being so negative, because you don't know what NeNe dealt with behind closed doors. Also, stop using the term 'chile' it shows your ignorance. Nothing is worse than someone assuming they know what or how someone is living.
Gregg was an outstanding man who treated all the ladies of RHOA with respect and loved a woman who tried her hardest to make herself so hard to love and he did it with understanding and unconditionally. He was funny. He was smart. He lived. He loved. He was a good man and he will be missed.

Yes its very heartbreaking. I went from seeing my mom as this strong able-bodied woman who could take on anything the world through at her to someone who deteriorated into someone I barely even recognized.
She died while I was at home and it was the most devastating thing I've ever gone through to this day.
I just find peace knowing shes wrapped around the loving arms of the Lord

i lost my mom to colon cancer in october of 2020 and i too was her caretaker, so i identify a lot with nene. my condolences to her and her family. it was nice to see the support she had and i know greg was smiling down on her. she'll need their support in the coming days

Mrs Leakes, being a caretaker is frustrating. My aunt is transitioning due to brain & lung cancer. #fucancer We chose @home hospice 5months ago. Witnessing the stages of death is devastating. Admitting you're powerless, unable to fix/heal ur loved ones is heavy. We've been unable to get her 2 eat in a week. Moreover she's asking us to take her to her funeral. Im so glad you have others to support you. Ultimately, I've come to appreciate caregiving because our time together will soon end. I'm cherishing every moment. #SIP #GREGLEAKES
