it all boils down to speed...this powerbank charges devices such as a laptop (it can even charge a macbook pro of 100watts) at a fast rate, it can also fast charge phones that support 45,65 and 100 watts fast charging. The bast part of it is that when the power bank eventually runs down, you can charge it back to full capacity in 1.5 hrs using a 100watts fast charging brick.....you dont get these features in most powerbanks.Basically ,this powerbank was meant to charge devices fast and also be charged fast, thats what we are paying the extra bucks for.
Let me break it down. A normal 50000mah is only PD compatible and supports only two charging protocols which means, it can only charge your your phones at a speed nothing higher than 25w. Now the technology required to produce that chip and board is quite cheap. Power banks with higher watt support multi fast charging protocols such as PD3.0, PPS, QC3.0, AFC, FCP and the likes which is more powerful to deliver the required and total output wattage of the bank thus, the price. A 50mah can never charge a laptop cos it's not compatible.
