What a beautiful place! Bummer about the illness, but at least it was a warm and beautiful place to ride it out. I loved the dive video, just gorgeous there.
Hey Sarah Great videos . Liked this one because you rescued me from my motor bike accident !!! James Divemaster 2019 I think . Good luck with all you do . I may look at your next dive Trips along with my wife . I do hope to see you again some day .
Accepting delays and flight cancellations was a big part of my dive trip to Papua New Guinea last year. It was kind of nice to just go with the flow and leave my usual time-stressed ways behind though, to be honest. And speaking of PNG, they had those giant barrel sponges and enormous sea fans too. Was so nice to see them again in your video. Someone really needs to sort out permanent mooring on that reef though!
Heading to maumere What is that music ? Had an absolutely stressed out day and I watched it for the third time and between your voice and the music the stress went away. Thank you. Also your course sailor mouth on the scooter was absolutely perfect. When I heard you say it, I said way to go, Sarah.
First let me say... the dive sequences were amazing as always and enjoyed watching the bike/hike... I was bit surprised that you decided to dive so quickly after recovering from a cold/sinus issue... 🤔 I realize it was a once in a lifetime event and the depth looked relatively shallow... but I kept thinking... was this a smart move? I did something very similar... thought I had fully recovered from a very slight cold... ended up with an inflamed sinus and inner ear... luckily it cleared in a week... Although, I will admit I did feel some periodic symptoms during the early parts of the dive and should have aborted... Not trying to be critical... just curious on how you evaluated the "go/no go" decision... 🤔 Buena Suerte y Vaya con Dios! ☀🌵🌊
I think every situation is different. I knew I didn't have much time left, so I decided to go for it. If it was a place that I dive all the time, I might have waited a little longer. But I'm glad I went.
@@AzulUnlimited word to the wise: if you have cuts or abrasions from stuff like qtip use then this stings. I also dont care to let it sit like some people do. Ive heard people letting it soak for 5min, no thanks. The point is to dry the middle ear with the iso and leave a residue of white vinegar in your ear that makes a less ideal environment for bacteria and ocean critters. Could even go upto 90% iso but this seems extra. 90% might be worth it if you are diving in particularly gross water. Also probably the time to add idiodine too when the water is gnarly.
Oh Boy, this brings back memories of my first trip to Indonesia in 1995….Took a ferry from Bali to Labuanbajo, which was a one horse town then……without even the horse! Then I had the very long bus journey from hell to Ende, which was made even worse by very travel sick Indonesians, clucking chickens and a few goats on the roof of the bus. I had a gastrointestinal upset of my own, but I will spare you the details….. Did get to walk up to see the three coloured craters of Keli Muti…..no stairs or anything that resembled a structure then. Spent a couple of days there, then it was time to return……oh God, what an adventure. The volcano was stunning!!!!
@@moolo1061 That sounds like quite the adventure! I've had similar experiences in India, but this part of Indonesia is definitely seeing the effect of tourism, which can be a good and bad thing :)

Such a beautiful place! Can't wait to dive warm water again!
It’s a nice break from cold water diving 🤣
@AzulUnlimited heck yes it's either tahoe, monterey, or folsom around here lol

@@AzulUnlimited but what’s that guitar music?
@@troop1026 Oh, it's just music from Epidemic Sound - a subscription company that offers copyright free music for creators to use on videos
@@AzulUnlimited well it’s awesome. It’s very relaxing. Thank you for the info. I hope all is well with you and Abby. To quote you “love you bye”
sea slugs spotting: @21:00 there is Notodoris serenae 😊
It’s always tough to get these guys in focus with my camera, but I’m pretty pleased with this one🙏💙

I didn't know you ride 🛵 too
I don't really. This was out of necessity.
@AzulUnlimited It's okay, I dive, sail, and ride out of necessity, too. 😄
@@AddAdventures hahaha nice
Ever tried using 50/50 iso 70% and white vinegar regularly after dives? Any success? Ive heard you can add iodine too.
I haven’t because usually it’s not an issue for me. If it becomes a regular thing, I’ll give it a try!

Glycerin helps if mixed with iso
