Geier (born in Cologne), who was one of Kenny Clarke's favourite bassists when touring in Europe. He's now 87 years old and still playing fantastically! Actually, he is my mentor (I play trumpet) in his workshop which he has been leading for over 40 years now in Switzerland.

Kenny Clarke was an absolutely fabulous drummer. So underrated but every bit as important as Max, Elvin and the like. Oh, that left hand!!!
