Oh my! I think this is the best explanation about 12th house mercury! I have both sun and mercury retrograde there in libra and I’ve always read that it meant lack of intelligence or inability to communicate, but never resonated with it. I love and feel the happiest studying subjects connected with societies’ sociological and economical patterns, philosophy, technology, astronomy and astrology, mysticism, languages and I work very much isolated as an artist and as a dissertations’ translator and revisor. I love being hidden and isolated and no one knowing what I up to. I’m not shy but I am happily an introvert, I love to communicate though, but I have to make a huge effort answering phone calls or if I know I have to go socialize and small talk, but when I’m there, I’m fine most times! This is a great insight into Mercury in 12th house. One thing i would like to add is everybody thinks it is very creative, but in reality that is only true if it sits with water, fire or air signs. Earth signs makes mercury very practical.
My 12th house in Virgo but I have two planets in air (Libra here) so I take from this that Virgo earth has grounding for me through inquiring my own curiosities and creativity

Best explanation so far! There are so many negative explanations of the 12th house planets but this is my Mercury although combust. Fascinating! I have Vedic mercury in Aquarius in 12th house. Regarding your comment on seeing 111 222 333 etc, this is correct, I remember when I see these and match up these occurances to predict things. I have a memory for feelings, context around seeing these numbers this. For example I saw 444 and a couple of months later I saw 444 again, I matched up the thoughts and contexts for these remembering what I felt and was thinking at that time and predicted the future accurately. I am very dreamy, but my mind is simply aware of e v e r y t h I n g at the same time. This placement is a blessing, it is fascinating.

One of the best explanation so far, I came across ! It shows mercury ( 15.4 Anu. 4th stage) both vargottama and bhavottama in the twelfth house of D1 & D9 respectively. Dhanu rising in power (ascendant) with sun (08.11 Anu. Stage 2) in the D1 replacing Venus (24)in the D9. Throw some light.

I have a humble request, would you please answer a question? My Mercury is at 1 degree in the twelfth house with Sun (5degrees). Does it mean that Mercury is weak? I would also like to mention that I am born under Kanya Rashi and Mithun Lagna, both of which are ruled by mercury.

I have my mercury in 12H Aries with R.Saturn aspecting it from 6H Libra. I am a lawyer by profession after multiple degrees. I have a problem with quick wit. I can answer queries when I have already prepared well for them but when the judge asks me questions outside the box, I become stuck like a deer in front of the headlights.
Any remedies? To improve my quick wit which will be useful for me in the court?
