She put her partner in a shapeless poncho and did white abstract make up so she didnt have to do typical “female” mug which is much more difficult. I thought her and Plane were on the same level and I would give win to Nymphia.

I LOVE Hugaceo to death, but their style is very club kid, from the mug to the clothes. they didn't start it, they popularized it because it's weirdly underrepresented on drag race, the club kids usually get cast on Dragula

We all know the makeovers are the producer’s way of rigging the final episodes. They get rid of whoever they want by claiming they look too much alike or nothing alike.

Alaska had the worst on S5 and was saved. Rebecca Glasscock won it looking the worst. And don’t get me started on the wins …..

What bothered me sm about Sapphira’s look was not that it looked exactly like Mhi’ya’s entrance look but the weird addition of the blue fabric under the skirt which was so distracting. Like I didn’t understand why the judges didn’t call that out.

Sapphira’s outfit was actually made by a famous designer which costs a lot didn’t remember the name but saw it on a tweet that Mhi’Yas was literally a recreation of the look with less boning and expensive feathers.

These two women having opposite opinions on how to do well at this challenge is the perfect analogy for how this challenged has historically been judged. WHO KNOWS? Who's on the judges' panel? How does production feel? Does Ru like/dislike this queen in general? It's all fair game!

Surprised Raven didn't clock the lack of lip on Miss Lazy
the way people say the makeover should be trying to make the other person look exactly like you from head to toe is wild to me. Placing your partner in the exact same outfit with basically no changes isn't family resemblance its lazy. Q, Crystal, Sasha, Trinity, etc. are great examples of what the makeover should be. You look like you come from the same family but have distinctive features. Like even sugar and spice who are LITERALLY twins and had a similar overall aesthetic on the show are still their own drag queens. Like think back to their promos for season 15. The same silhouette and pieces (mini jackets, tight mini skirt, purses, y2k hair) but were different colours and had different styling. Even just changing the colour of your outfits shows more effort than buying the same body suit twice....
Idk, I can remember sometimes they try so hard to make it look familiar and still get criticized for it not looking more alike. I think it’s just safer to do matchy twins. Makeup & hair has a lot to do with it too. One could say clown makeup is pretty safe or lazy too.

So glad they're acknowledging Q's job on the make over, she did amazing but rn the fandom is divided between Plane and Nymphia and their bias is not letting them give Q her rightfully deserved flowers, some people are even saying she should've been in the bottom, like c'mon now.

So glad you guys appreciated Morphine’s makeover! I feel like certain👀 people’s standard of “biological looking woman” and feminine passing drag is really close minded. Latina had a great mug, she fit in the dress and it looked good on her, and they looked related.
morphine didn’t do bad in this challenge (and I would even go as far to say that she matched better than sapphira) but I think the top has pretty much been decided since the start, and looking at track record it makes sense

Q is the only one that did anything interesting.. How many times has Plane done that kind of look this season, how many bodysuits has shoe worn? Q should have won this one. 100%.
It wasn't really about Plane though ... it was making the dancer over in their "family" image, which I thought Plane did a better job of as well as their on-stage presentation. Lazi looked like an actual queen on the show. Luna looked like an escapee from Crystal Method's circus ...

But they through a dance performance in there this go around. And Q did good considering she doesn’t dance . But lazy Susan was feeling and selling the fantasy !
Let's be honest, we all know at this stage it rarely has much of anything to do with actual performance in the challenge--it's about whatever storyline production has decided. They've already decided Q's not winning, so there's no way she was getting the win (I think that occurred to Q a couple of weeks ago and is what was behind her "Jan" moment.) Sapphira was clearly in the bottom for the challenge performance, but Morphine was destined to go home this episode anyway. They *could* have given the win to Nymphia... but apparently for whatever reason they are wanting to pump Plane up right now. I agree she did a good job but also, yeah. It wasn't really anything special.
@@MirahAmmal Yup agreed. They've already decided who they want to win for sure. I do like all of them, Plane grew on me and sometimes I still don't like her but mostly do, but I'll be SHOCKED if anyone but Sapphira wins. I really don't get all the hate Q gets. Don't get it at all.
@@josephkissel6062 I disagree. It's about family image yes, Plane and Lazi looked like twins. Q and Luna looked like family. It's not just a challenge to go make someone look exactly like you, Q and Luna were clearly from the same family, while 3 of the others just put the same costume in a different colour/opposite colours on their partner, it's boring, Q's was interesting (and then there was Sapphira LOL).
Plane was so obvious. I liked Q so much more.

I think we may be seeing shoe choices that are not the best from Sapphira because she may have have foot problems. It cannot be easy, especially for a large Queen who moves the way she does to not end up with sore tootsies. Her runways have been stunning but she seems to be wearing her dancing shoes. Not throwing shade but compassion for years spent in shoes that gave me bunuins by the time I was 18. Eeke. I don't know how the girls do it. A big shout "ouch" to all you gals. ❤
It could be. Especially after ru called it out during the snatch game. Any one else would have thrown the shoes out so they were never seen again. But she keeps wearing them, meaning she might actually need them.

Problem is the sweet Gal may have such bad feet she can't break in new ones. I love Rue is not critiquing In a negative way but using humor. Either way I'd love to see her take the crown. She auditioned 11 times she really deserves to win. She has paid her dues.

Sapphira’s first suck! But even still, she deserved to stay due to her track record. There was no way Morphine was staying no matter who won the lip sync UNLESS Sapphira did REALLY bad in the lip sync. As bad as Sapphira’s makeover was, it was still slightly better than Morphine’s. Well, they both sucked, but it was obvious who the top 4 would be from day one. Q, Plane Jane, Nymphia Wind, and Sapphira Cristal. The rest of the group were ALL lackluster, including Dawn.
