Thanks Erichi and Craig. I think Cathay's idents are quite consistent in presenting its iconic Cathay Building, yet with various backdrops like color-day and color-night. Pretty a step ahead of Warner Bros. Chinese characters used to be read from right to left, but when it displays from left to right, something funny will happen. Like Cathay's chinese name 國泰. when showing in reverse means 泰國 (Thailand)!
You're welcome, Dire^^' I guess you can say idents have catchy themes ever and makes us have spirits within us. And yes, from your reply, I just found out in Craig's Leftovers video, and so, I love the theme of Cathay. I didn't knew it also came in From The Highway (1970). I want to say, thank you both you and Craig for agreeing with me^^. I wish you the best on part 2.
Erichi, a recent finding: The Spirits (1969) and The Devil's Skin (1970) shows two more different track for the Cathay Scope's post-1965 ident. I was thinking whether viewers will be bored to death if I show the same idents with different versions of soundtracks XD
The source is believed to be a video of a taiwanese film distributed by Cathay. I do not intend to find that logo but that film instead, and it suddenly pops out.
According to HKFA: 1.International is established in 1953 2.MP&GI is formed in 1956 3.Cathay continued to support Golden Harvest to film 4.Yung Hwa closed in 1956

Dire, this is best upload ever. Excellent job! Cathay Scope is amazingly great in Mad Mad Mad Sword.
2:28: That background looks VERY similar to the one used in the Toho logo at the time.
Thanks for agreeing with me, Craig^^. Ever since I liked Cathay, both you and Dire have made me cheer up by the themes. :D
