I venture to Woodhouse Grange for this video on the Thursday open match on the Mighty Kennel Lake. With big weights needed to frame, can I put a weight together without anything going wrong. Tune in to find out.

Hi Jack, yes they do fish shallow, usually with maggots at around 11 metres. It's just quicker to catch in the margins as you need a lot of fish to frame. 👍

Just a question margin to left why not go tight up to bank as they can only get in one way ?

Hi Danny, the bank shallows up to nothing. If you fish tight up to the bank, then you will be fishing in about 2 inches of water.

well done Greg. Im glad i dont match fish im useless at judging how much fish weight and would have found what happend at the end of the weigh in soul destroying just becouse your a little overweight

Hi Steven, Yes, I was a bit gutted, but net limits are there to protect the fish. I went this weekend and got it wrong again but underestimated the weight this time. 🙈
