My 12 year old son was recently hit by an out of control car and, unfortunately didn't make it. I remember him watching this video and it touched him so deeply that the little boy appears to pass away. It breaks my heart to imagine the unbelievably big heart he had for others and ironically he passed from the same thing. God have mercy on myself and our family, as this is the most unimaginable tragedy you could ever imagine. Thank you NEYO for making this video.

For all those confused if the kid or Ne-yo died, Ne-yo was the one who died. His ghost is playing through the song, that's why there's no contact between his wife/girlfriend and Ne-yo. In the video, he pushed the child out of the way to save the child, and he died. That's why the video shows Ne-yo's dead body and an empty bench after his partner leaves at the end ☺️

It's true though. It's been around since who knows how longs. I just wish the good music would come back. Even the songs in this genre aren't really that good in my opinion. I don't really mean R&B per se, but the songs that deal with emotional turmoil and what-not.
you do realize even in the renaissance and medieval they likely sang of opium wenches and plowing them in the stable while getting big money on a crusade ...so your "back in the day" clean music is a bit overrated its been around forever ...LOL never will it cease to exist ...
