Great idea you had there with that board you can pull out to get at the plumbing if you have to. I was concerned that the plumbing would be hard to get to!! Great job, and I am so glad to see you doing so well Jeff. God has answered our prayers!!!!!
Exactly what I was thinking... like Will Jeff think to make a panel or will he think of it later? The panel is cool. Could change out the handle for a towel hook as a disguise :)
No tearing out walls or towel closets to deal with plumbing issues . Only Jeff would think of a sliding access . I'm remembering this little trick . Thank you Jeff . And yes, Hannah's going to have one beautiful properly designed and built home .
Holy Cats … when you first mention the bath tub plumbing… I was thinking that you could install a small panel that you could use to inspect the fittings … and then you showed a Sweet panel that you made that would slide out ! Very nice idea
The best leak finder is toilet paper. You can wrap all those fittings in a layer of TP and come back later. If there is any moisture coming out at all, it will disintegrate the TP. Ol' Hannah's gonna have a sinus headache from that sawdust if she ain't real careful :) Y'all are making one nice home
As always, I truly enjoy the videos. Don't be overdoing it, man. Trust and believe I've been there not with the broken neck but hurt up pretty good told I shouldn't be doing something and did and ended up hurting myself way worse
Mr. Jeff awesome looking walls for sure Sir. I love the blue stain and knots also . Those walls will really surprise ya with just a clear poly finish and the color that comes out with it for sure . Ms. Hannah needs a set of sheetrock stilts for her sanding tasks Sir 😅😅.

Should I ever win the lottery I will fly you to Alaska, provide a sawmill, hunting license, and every tool Dewalt makes + one million dollars to design and supervise the build of my retirement home. I'll throw in the Shilo Sharpes 45.70 Quigley.
I'm a plumber, I don't trust teflon tape, rubber flat face seals or anything thats done quick and easy. I like copper tube, brass fittings, hemp, and anything made by Loctite. Sliding panel really effing smart move.
Love the access panel for the connections. Food for thought, burnish some wax on all sliding edges making contact with one another to make it just a tad smoother to move? And to reduce the chance of swelling if it DOES get wet? M'be Polyurethane the back side of the panel board as well as the one above/below to seal it from swelling up with water if a leak does happen? Nice work there Kemosabe! Following Dr.'s orders of the 15 pound weight limit?
I think the house looks Purdy already. You both have endured a lot in building this house to make it a home for Hannah and whomever she has in her life to share with, besides Merle the corgi.
Those bear claw tubs are great to look at but if they're too long to sit in for your feet to touch the end, you can't put much water in them or it will displace you, keeping you from sitting up while you bathe.
Perhaps a water detection alarm beneath that tube fixture will ease your mind a bit. I use them under all my sinks and toilets and they work quite well.
Wouldn’t hurt to put a little piece of foam insulation on the supply lines so they don’t make noise on the wall. The hot water supply will expand a little when being used.
Jeff the problem with the connections is that pipe threads are tapered but the shank on the faucet is straight like a bolt .If you are worried about a leak make a removable panel over or under faucet and keep a water alarm like a smoke alarm on the rat seal below . Constant expansion and contraction of the hot side may cause the gasket to leak
That's the old style pex. The new style , all you need is a expander gun to open the end of the pipe and push it onto fittings. No bands and crimping needed.
My house got replumbed with pec a few years ago and had no leaks, but then we fired the water heater and had 2 when it caused the psi to rise. So fire the water heater if you haven't.
Shiny wood stair treads got me my 1st rotator cuff surgery. Because luckily, I held onto the rail when my feet slipped out from under me. It was a hard sit down but it saved my neck. Just sayin', don't have shiny treads on stairs.

that plumbing access was brilliant. I have never seen anything like it. Simple, yet brilliant.
Jeff, you and hannah are amazing. the wood is nice, real nice. thank you jeff.
Holy Cats … when you first mention the bath tub plumbing… I was thinking that you could install a small panel that you could use to inspect the fittings … and then you showed a Sweet panel that you made that would slide out ! Very nice idea
the sliding door to check plumbing is next level Jeff. Awesome job.
that plumbers door should be in every home! this man is one of a kind tough and smart
I like the idea of using a sliding board for an access hatch on the tub's plumbing. Looks very good!
Jeff & Hannah looking awesome !!
That access panel is a great idea! In my older home I cut a access in the back of closet to replace a shower mixer valve in a ceramic shower.
Jeff you are one cleaver dude thinking of an idea of that for the plumbing by putting in that sliding access panel on the siding...GREAT JOB mister!!
that sliding panel is brilliant!
Love that sliding plumbers door!
Might need to be careful with that handle sticking out in the walk area. Hannah might scrape her shoulder on it. 😁
She might hit the top of her head on it... If she's standing on her toes :)

More people oughta use that "hiden pannel trick"!!
That was kinda cool to see the sliding board to get to your water lines. You are right that is a beautiful house.
Smart idea on the sliding panel, found out years ago sooner or later you will need to get at it.
that's a slick access panel you created there! what a nice house that is going to be! great work
That plumbing access is genius
The house is comming along real good tell hanna is all womem, to heck what people may say. Jeff i pray everyday that get back to your ol' self!!!!!

Jeff Sharkbite Makes Some Fitting That Would Be Way Better On That Faucet!! ✝️

Try you some water based Polycrylic polyurethane . Dries quick & won't yellow your pine. Couple of coats works well. Easy clean.

I’d recommend you don’t use vinyl plank flooring. Tile the baths and put hardwood down every where else.

Dont the Insulate waterlines in Alabama? E.g. the cold waterlines against condensation in that humid climate?
Jeff good clear coat on the wall be great buddy . Look 👀 good Jeff come together good buddy SPOT ON 😊.
Watch your neck, but a man has to do for his family. God bless ,stay safe .just let me know ill be there You're family..
Hannah, when you marry you will have a beautiful home for the wedding. Lots of love from Sweet Water.
I like the access door, is that rubber piping with hose clamps? I'm not a plumber, but
Wouldn't copper be better?
I like how you're not showing yourself with the neck brace off.
Love the sliding board for plumbing !!!!!
As usual your work is is straight up awesome. Love the sliding access panel
The work looks great. I hope you're wearing your neck brace, JB.
That access hatch is absolute genius sir. Well done. Lookin great all around.
Pipe work access is a brilliant idea, so simple yet highly effective.
The tub and pine look AMAZING.
I think the house looks Purdy already. You both have endured a lot in building this house to make it a home for Hannah and whomever she has in her life to share with, besides Merle the corgi.
Looking great guys will be nice once yous have finished ❤
Whatever Hannah decides you know it will look good.

That tap don't look like it's out far enough and at that height , water is going to splash everywhere unless you run non-splashing water
Just love that sliding panel, maintenance man’s dream 🤘😎👍🇬🇧

That removable panel for the plumbing is an awesome idea

Bathroom looking good Jeff. Whole house is going to be awesome!
I'm thinking that tub faucet isn't going to reach out far enough looks like it will drip onto the tub top edge
Wear a mask hannah you need to protect those beautiful lungs
She needs wood shutters on that bathroom window so she can close it up at night so Sasquatch or a Boogerman can't watch her take a bath.
Getting close! Going to be amazing!!!
Your mind is very creative Jeff excellent idea on the hidden door
That sliding board to have access to the pipes is genius!
I think the contrast between the walls and floor looks better
Use tru-blue pipe sealant u will never use anything else and no thread tape
Great job Jeff! Love the service hatch idea. 👌👍
