Also the map literally just got nuked so everyone is expecting a new map or a massive change to verdansk but apart from a couple locations its practically the same as before. 2 things.
1) I appreciate the absolute joy on nicks face watching him experience that whole event live. I’m an OG gamer and this was definitely worth the headaches and server issues the past two days to experience this and watch it all unfold.
2) I personally like the “new” map. Colors are very much a raven-color war thing but the entire map is very well thought out and it feels like we got something new. I lost my bearings a few times in areas I know like the back of my hand. It definitely felt darker, cloudy and ominous that first jump and every BR after so in wondering if weather changes going forward will make things look a little different.
I’m liking what I saw and can’t wait for future changes. 🤙🏽 Oh for that mushroom cloud to go away...we are in 1984 after all?
