CAS needs a significant points cost rise, and SPAAs need a higher kill-score to reflect the difficulty of bringing down planes in low BRs. It's just leading to way more frustrating games than ever before. Seriously, people are in planes way too quickly, and damn near every game just today has been dominated by yak-cannon air with HE FILLED ROUNDS. What a terrible time to be in this bracket.
Agreed, I finished 2nd on my team the other day with 6 air kills and 7 ground kills. 1st had 8 ground kills and 1 air kill. Everything else was the same.
There are guys in planes just 2 minutes after the game started , rush a cap and get in a plane . While slow and heavy tanks just got to the first cap , there are already bombs falling down .
Today I had a game where I got two kills with an uptiered M-18, got onto an AM-1 fully loaded with rockets and 1000lb bombs, flew for the entire game and got a nuke. CAS definitely needs a nerf in general.
I kind of wish there was a lead indicator for anti air against planes at this br, like how your crew calculates how much to lead your cannons against enemy ships in naval battles and it updates every couple of seconds. Most people at this br are fairly new to the game so they struggle taking down planes with anti air.
I think it could work based on the rangefinder crew skill. It could only give a general idea of where to fire, but it would have to be very bad compared to radar SPAA.
@@tankdood329 You would still need to know how SPAA works by looking at the tracers and seeing if you are over or under leading. The only thing this should help is the first 5 burst should not be miles off of the plane. The new tracers they added to naval I hope comes to ground so people can clearly see what the tracers are doing.
I'm someone who perfers to play air in GRB vs any air mode. I love the cas dynamic in this game, but I'm also for increasing sp to 1000 at the least for aircraft. Even though I love cap rushing and getting a quick assist from scouts or a kill to start bombing people 2 minutes into a macth, I'd gladly give that up to bring balance to the force.
gaijoob needs to rework spawn points cost for cas. Base cost for planes with machineguns should stay the same but cost of bombs and potent guns like this should go up to be 2x-3x cost of the base plane. Also they need to heavily increase SPAA rewards for killing planes so plane kill would give you 1,5x rp and sl compared to a tank kill. Instead of this they planning to make idiotic changes to br's? Also this Yak-9 is broken beyond belief in GRB.
A Dynamic SP cost would fix this issue longer the game last easier to spawn CAS. Start of game it would be almost impossible to get into CAS with a cap and a kill.
Yeah, this is one of the reasons I don't play as much GRB now until they nerf this shit. I got taken out by Yak9 in Tiger II (H) and T26E1 just by getting shot on the weakest part of any tank aka roof. So much fun. CAS was always cancer, but this is taking the actual piss out of GRB. Gaijin add Ground only mode. We shall see how many people prefer this over the nonsense we have now :/.
with the tisma and to some degree the su-8, as long as you pay attention and don't get jumped, a lot of players will actually go for a head on engagement with you, especially if they're angry. 😅
No, the Yak-9T and K had nothing to do with the MiG-15. It also wasn't really a prototype/testbed; they made almost 3000 of them. It was supposed to be an anti-tank plane but that didn't work out so well since the gun was hard to aim, so they used it against shipping instead. The K variant didn't work very well in real life though; the recoil was too great and there was little benefit to using the larger caliber. Also just because both guns are 45mm does not mean the NS-45 could necessarily fire ammo made for the 45mm anti-tank guns. The shell would have to be the same length in addition to being the same caliber; I have no idea if it was but it's important to keep in mind. We don't know whether the NS-45 could fire APHE rounds since there's little documentation of the gun and its ammo.
The way I mean they impacted the Mig 15 and Mig 9 is both of those cannons on the Yaks where way to powerful for those air frames. So they cut them down for the Mig 9 and Mig 15. Yea that is the bit that is confusing cause it has the same filler as the BR-240 So something has to be related between the 2.
There was only HE ammo , it was meant for shooting down planes . It's 45x186mm , a very big but short shell . For comparison the German 50mm has 50x420mm .

@@DawgIVLife The MiG-15 and MiG-9 use the exact same NS-37 cannon as the Yak-9T as far as I’m aware, so they didn’t really change anything based on the experience with the Yaks other than dropping the 45mm variant of the gun.
